Some novels are deliberate junk food, and thrive by following such a philosophy. But then again many are led astray by their writing, and become utter trash in the process. This.. work - which I dare not call a novel - is one of them. It started as pretty satisfying, but by the end you will be physically harmed by the act of reading it. Like an ex you once loved, before they showed their true colors.

Very mediocre novel. Now, it could've been one of the best in this site, if not for lack of one essential thing: Consistency. The translation quality, stellar in early to middle parts, drop like a rock in the final 400 chapters or so. Same goes for story development. The "space-time twist" is done abruptly or without any semblance of mechanics, confusing the reader. Character design, as a consequence, suffers from the faults of the earlier two mistakes. Still, world background is superb. It is what makes this novel rise a notch from middling class.

Finally a rebirth that makes sense thank goodness author sama use his brain and didnt just write mc went back in time and then they don't even bother to explain why he had a rebirth

Soo... he got killed in an among us tournament so he got drunk and quit the game. You can't make this stuff up.. idk what the authors goal is but it's over 1200 chapters so it doesn't seem to be a joke. Too many weird phrasings to seem like a coincidence though.. 😐

A good rebirth + MMORPG story, I like the way the world in the game is described but nothing much is said about the real world except in the earlier chapters. Good mind candy till about chapter 900 when the writer adds a switching between timelines switch and quality drops. The writer starts forgetting things and things get confused and meaningless. Oddly enough the translation stops 2 chapters before end of story, why? I read the last 2 chapters in Chinese as well as the author notes in which the author apologizes for drop in quality and abrupt end, seems it was to hard to combine writing with his new job. Too bad really, but especially the first 600 chapters are a nice read.

There are a lot of going back in time reincarnation novels but this one has had me the most invested, why? A love interest that is actually making progress, an MC that is not so weak but also not so overly OP and getting first everything(Credit to the author for putting him in only a month after, pretty ingenious to balance out the beginning) and finally, real progression! The fights aren’t unnecessarily long. You have a good idea of the geographic location and I mean just the Martial World itself is pretty unique for VR and a lot of things can be done. Lastly has super high potential because the author mentioned in the beginning that there were a bunch of reams yet to be discovered by players when he died so all in all so far I am satisfied 👍 P.S. Grammar is good too
