I think ,Catherine although forgave Caroline over phone,considering the trauma Caroline underwent from joseph.this victimization concealed her wrong.Empathy took over hate as she was pregnant.But Catherine's innerself still despises n couldn't forgive her for seducing her husband. Even the bad memories about john with Ella still persists in her mind. Her hate is revoked the moment she saw her with John.she behaving is proper thru her perspective. But is this what she understands about john from the time they hav kids? I also feel she lived very less time with John to completely understand him so as the situations didn't permit the bonding.

I'm on Catherine side but it's too much when she involved the children...come one.. grow up Catherine!!! Caroline no matter what u're still a ***** & u deserve it fot ur previous slut act.. but when the hero & heroine of this story gonna met???

I think catherine is right. If i were her i would never forgive my sister. Susan is taking john's side because she abandoned her son now she is making up to him in wrong way

😆 Well I'm sort of used to the drama from this book. I felt like Cath and John's story was slightly rushed after the last arc in the first book. So I'm glad to see them. Of course the author has to mention all these details. Cath and John's story isn't over. I mean 🙄🙄 are we really going to believe that Cath will just forgive her sister for seducing her husband? John letting Caroline live in his house too? These things need to get addressed, so I'm glad the author made Catherine lash out. It's actually better this way. I need to see John repent for good. He always acts like he isn't wrong and it's his wife's fault. He needs to look at things from her perspective.

Okay, I can now officially say that this is Catherine and John's story. I waited to see if the plot would change at some point but with 56 chapters already gone, I don't see that happening anytime soon. I remembered the author saying once that Catherine and John would be mentioned in the first 30 chapters after which it will all be about Caroline. But, It's same old accusation, suspicion, Catherine childish tantrums, *****iness, lack of trust and running away from home which I think should have continued in the former book. Hmmph.
