The mc is funny but few chapter later his personality start to annoy us. But there is character growth and the author doesn't kill off MC's loved one to give him motivation to get stronger, he lives in abyss and after awakens and start to cultivate he finds that strength is a must to survive and his 'young master' attitude starts to change.When he understand that his clans background give him a safe space and limit his growth he leave the empire and starts a journey. If you are planning on dropping the novel pls wait till 40-50 chapter the mc's character changes along with his strength. The cat partner is funny, the author should write side chapter about the litte halfling who follows cat dao

Btw might contain a small spoiler nothing major though Devil rise is a great web novel, with a devil as an mc from a noble clan at the start the mc is a brat for around 50 chapters but then his personality starts to improve. the mc also has a system but it’s not that overpowered it shows his stats and other things but does not improve his level or gives him items so far.

From the chapters I have read so far it looks promising. There are some grammar issues in some more complex paragraphs but otherwise it's well written and rhe story is progressing nicely. There are also some issues going from first person to tjird person view for no reason in some parts but that can be edited out and it's not too distracting. Otherwise the story is flowing nicely. Keep up with the good work.

This is good book, has good grammer, written well and the world building is also good, much better than some other novels I have read recently. I will strongly recommend reading it to anybody.

The writing quality is good, and the updates are stable. The story is developing well, and can be slowed down a bit. The character designs are absolutely great. I can relate to them pretty well. Now, let's come to the point why I would suggest other people to read it. 1. It is about Devil's rise, which is obviously understandable from the title. But I never saw one glorifying Devils or writing about their emotions. So, this is unique. 2. The Author's writing style is pretty good. You fall in love with the story once you read it. 3. The story has a lot of comic relief. They are subtle, but are enough to bring a smile on your face. Well, there are many other reasons to recommend it but I won't tell any more. Go and read to find out...

This is for the first time that I am reading a devil story which involves devil cultivation. It is quite interesting and so far I have read 6 chapters from the 21 published so far. The writing quality is good. I could not find any grammatical mistakes or typos. The stability of updates is good. The Story is developing well. The character is well described and the World background is well designed. All the best, author.

Overall as a novel I'd say it is doing pretty darn well as a novel. The grammar and details cannot be faulted, which is something I always look for as continuous mistakes just get in the way and make be drop the novel - I'm glad it doesn't happen here. The MC seems quite interesting. Opposite to usual novels, he is non-human, an evil b*stard and talented but not. Loving it already. I liked the use of a more unique system, it will create and open more opportunities in the future. It is similar to Xianxia but it has its own (good) spin on it. Only thing is have to say is a negative about the novel is the information. Not that it is hard to understand, lacking in detail or quality. I just feel like I'm being fed too much information at once in certain parts of the novel, it's kind of hard for me to concentrate fully. Maybe spread information across the chapters more evenly?

it's good to read something that doesn't contain a human character once in a while, great writing quality, few grammar minor mistakes but that will get fixed naturally as you focus on writing and practicing your English. and you should give a little bit of focus to world background, read my novel and you'll know what i mean. anyway keep up the good work. like the story so far :)

In my honest opinion, this is a really great webnovel. There may be some grammatical errors every know and then, but the excellence of the story makes up for it. I really like how you explained the Dao system and the devil hierarchy. I like specific and concise explanations, so that really made the story a whole lot better. Plus, I can actually feel the evilness in the characters. So far, James is amazing. Sure the plot can take long at times, but it will get better.

I really like the idea of the story, everything about the devils looks fascinating, and the mention of the abyss reminds me of a Korean webtoon which I like. If you could write more dialogue and not explain everything then it would be perfect. Nevertheless keep up the good work.
