I was not to excited for the start of the novel, the MC seemed stupid to a degree but it seemed like a serious novel and he did show slight improvement...but then the fire nation attacked.... but then the system came into play and all the possible cliches were hit in one chapter (its the same feeling of seeing a semi serious review and then see that stupid sentence of "then the fire nation attacked"), this is the feeling I get from the novel now. System that can talk, female, already shows signs of flirting with the MC, lucky draw, punishment for failing a quest. This went from having potential to the worst case cliche. I was expecting the system but not all the additional baggage. The novel with "Lin Fan" was successful because its was one of the first main stream but it should not be a novel to look up to when writing one in terms of the failing comedy, the plot armor and plot holes. Anyway, I would usually drop it right about now but for some reason feeling to keep going and see how it goes but I feel like author could do much better if the aim was for a slightly more serious story rather than cliches and wish fulfillment .
