The plot started off with our mc, a high schooler who has a pessimistic view on life. His dialogues with the other students really show his character; however, I would like to add that since the development is somewhat slow, I would like some redeeming quality or characteristic that draws me toward him regardless of his pessimism. ( This is only my advice though, so feel free to ignore if that clashes with your plans ) Main issue is the grammar. I would say I found run-on sentences every 1-2 paragraphs, and a few misspellings here and there. The misspellings I could somewhat ignore, but the run-on sentences really did prevent me from immersing well since I am somewhat sensitive to grammar. My recommendation is to try Grammarly or another grammar correcting app as well as combing your chapters about a day or two later after being written to see it with fresh eyes. All in all, this was a romance book with good potential, and any readers, who read my review, please take the time to check the book out before passing by as who knows.
