We need to understand better the levels of power and how far which one is from the others. But really you just gave to MC the fruit just like that he didn't even nor tried to get it. Upgrading the lighting element because of him using a burst of thunder ok but the wind element just like that is not normal you should have made it clear that he was understanding the wind element like when he rided the gryffin and felt the wind or when he was fighting the wind wolves and was being attack by the wind blades this two moments could be used like places so he would start understandin the wind but just like that doesn't make sense or even if you wanted you could have done like the MC being attack by wind mages and he starts fighting and reading is movements upgrading is understanding there were a lot of ways to do it or maybe you wanted to be like this but didn´t put enough information, But let me say the oart where I talk about he starting understanding the wind there has a flaw since you explained that the wind was being controled by the gryffin and didn't touch them,
