absolutely garbage, poor storyline that can't keep track of itself after 90 chapters the rune/magic the story is named after dissappears never to return, plagiarized sections from other works on the same app

The story started out great, but once he decided on the beast master curriculum the entire magic system of the world changed. It is almost like he went to a different world altogether (maybe he did, couldn't tell) This story had so much potential and deserves a re-write. The world building was good and the slow discovery that the world was actually future Earth had a lot of potential. The author should re-write the story so that dual curriculums are allowed and let the MC take both rune and beast master classes. After all he went to school because he wasn't using his runes efficiently, not because he wanted to have pets. His battles should include a usage of both. This not only provides more possible solutions to battles but it will alleviate the boredom of constantly leveling up your pets and letting the pet do all the fighting. The MC himself should be progressing along with his pets, not just adapting their skills/power; After all he is supposed to be a special genius etc. The author ruined the story by making him graduate early, missing all those school interactions etc that would further enrich all the side characters. Instead he keeps abandoning his friends and make new ones and the old friends are mostly never heard from again. If the beast master system was in a different world then the author needs to make the MC able to go back to the rune world. Or make it more clear that this is an entirely different world from when he first stepped into the transmigrated body.

Started as novel that had a system that helped acquire information & runic magic.then it jumped to beasts partners. it no longer mentions previously established characters or relevant story build up. in short it really is magical, you read one story then - abracadabra you are now in a multiverse where same character but different everything else.that said it's not entirely unreadable except for that 'minor' change up inconsistency.

Terrible, the author of the novel, should just delete the novel out of shame it had an interesting rune story concept, but then his rune system turned into a beast taming one, and the story never mentions runes again

First time writing a bad review here. I'm about 340 chapters into the book, and the only way I can describe it is that it feels like the author tried to cram 3 books into one. it starts out with the rune system and he can read it because it's in English like the title says and then at one point he drops all of it after getting op with it never to bring it up again to start raising pets. he gets them pretty powerful, then once again drops all of those pets to start training ancient beasts. Every time he gets powerful, the author drops it all away, and it is never brought up again. Runes the title is about hasn't been mentioned or used in over 200 chapters. The book is overall horrible, though the small parts are in general coherent until everything is switched once again.

Novel starts good but it quickly goes downhill. The mc does some stupid stuff and decides to go to school to learn so he doesn’t screw up again. The mc while in school does not study or learn anything he just fights to get stronger. The mc graduates early while still learning nothing and acting like a fool. The mc has friends that he claims to care for but never visits most of them or checks on them. The mc bought a slave girl that he claims to care for but barely does anything with her and he just shrugs when she is taken by a mysterious group. Overall the novel is really annoying and could use some major improvement as the mc ruins it

Misleads you with an interesting plot, then 100+ chapters in throws away the main selling point of the novel. Runes subsequently disappear and this just becomes a monster fighting/collecting system novel.

i kinda dont understand. its a great book but it turned into a beaat tamer book intead of the spells and everything if he was gonna be a beast tamer couldnt he still use spells so hes not a zitting duck?

Worst Book in WebNovel. It was very good when it was focused on Runes. Overpowered and stuff but after sometime, the story changed. Very bad. Don't waste your time reading it. Trash.

The story starts of great then then around chapter 100 the story completely changes no more runes a completely different system and pretty becomes Pokémon im so disappointed I was so excited to find a story I liked with more than 600 chapters but everything that mad it good is gone

Here's my biggest issue with the story thus far. The entire world build is on these magic rune masters and how they function, until shortly after chapter 100. I'm not putting a spoiler tag on because if you intend to read this and especially spend money then you need to know that the novel completely changes. We are suddenly told about beast masters as a subset of rune masters, then the novel becomes a beast taming novel completely. MC no longer uses runes at all, with the exception of his inventory. Everything we've learned and enjoyed up to this point, assuming you're still reading the book, is abandoned. The system which gave him the best quality runes now shows him data on beasts and gives missions and exp to level his beasts. Completely new power system. It might as well be a different novel, where the same MC is thrown into a different world. All of a sudden beast masters are everywhere and the people he defended as friends are only brought up as token cliff notes. I'll update my review if he suddenly remembers that he's a wizard in control of time and elements. My low rating isn't because the story or writing is bad, I enjoy beast taming novels too, but because it's not what I signed up for.

What I really want to know is why didn't he use his runes in battle. Also he didn't continue to condense runes. Why? I only read to like 220 chapters. It's not like it's bad, just that I am curious that why runes disappear from story.

So, lets start I forgot exactly when i dropped this, probably between 350-400 or so. And so many chapters in, ofc it was dropped for a good reason...and thats because....IT BECAME A WHOLE NOTHER STORY....AGAIN🤣 no kidding, the first and second time, i looked pass the changing plot...not transitioning plot...but a whole new one...At one point or two, the author just completely abandons the power setting he started with and did a whole new one...Forgets the MC's powers completely at one point n just, after a while, you consider whether the title is still appropriate....💀💀Ah...you'll probably have a stroke after 300...or slightly before...but 1-200 the story is really good.

The story is nice, But I am actually confused. Is it medivial theme or post apocalyptic or modern fantasy? Because I'm the beginning there was use of carriages but later there was cars. And there was focus on rune usage but later went to beast taming, so I am confused

The story was really great at first but after going to beast academy the author forgot the part where the novel should be runes turned out to be english. The runes were never again mentioned and the initial build up for it including the characters like elizabeth, camia,clare amd many mpre were wasted. I dont get the people rating this high. The only explanation I can think of is either you people are noobs in reading novels or you really didnt read the novel at all.

For what I read it's pretty good. At first I thought what nice concept, quite intriguing and got quickly hooked on this novel but later down the line the novel kind of lost me because of big changes that just didn't make sense to me. I mean I did enjoy it as far as I read but I believe it was somewhere around ch. 300 it differed too much from its original idea/execution that I started to get bored/annoyed by it so I dropped it. Might pick it up again but not so sure. Still I liked it.

The Story is a complete disappointment, the author seems to forget what the story is about at certain points and just starts a completely different story with the same main character. It starts as a Rune Magic story, then turns into a Beast Tamer story and after that changes once again and every time it is like the MC completely forgets everything they knew about the world and his friends. It is best to just skip this story and save your money

it was really at first. when him at first kingdom. But then you lose good side characters, and goes from magic to Pokemon. which throws the read way off. It's save it's self by with a good protagonist and writing.But then beast god mission comes and the story because a different story again. which makes it impossible for the read to get back into.

The stor start off ok with a mildly interesting world mystery and a “magic” system that could be interesting until about 100 ch in. After mc got to the suposedly best school in all of the empires the author completly changed not only the power system making it basically Pokemon they also changed the entire world structure. And then as if that wasn’t bad enough a bit over 100 ch later they Iintroduced a completely different power system

Even author doesnt seem to know what to do with the story, so he is all over the place. Its like he decides to write a physics paper but then suddenly changed it to biology after introduction.......

I am not doing paid chapter starting chapter fibe so you will get my review at that point. Ahem* chinese harem trash is all I’m picking up as of now, oh whats that? Simp MC? Ah well was worth a few minutes to give it a shot.

Man this novel really got bad. I am dropping it afree about 230 chapters. Sure the first 50 or so are good. But the characters are so boring so the writer just adds more and more to make it seem more exciting. But since he keeps adding more it just gets boring and lacks any depth. Also the whole premise is that he can translate runes into English yet for some reason 100 chapters in, no one uses runes anymore? For some reason he just dropped the idea of runes and made it about magical beasts. The original story was good but not this. In summary, He dropped the entire premise and just made it a glorified Pokémon book. 3/10 would not read more.

Man, I hate that I'm doing this, but here I am. A review, Honestly It starts slow from Chp. 1 to 25. Then it picks up, and I'm really compelled to read more. It's a fantastic story from then on; very compelling, and it builds the foundation to what could be a really cool story and world from 25 to 100 is Very interesting. But, from what I've read from other reviews and my own opinion, “The higher they are; the harder they fall.” from then on it's riddled with contractions, bad grammar, and a plot that just goes off the railing. I'm on Chp. 131 And it is with my great displeasure to say I'm dropping this. I'd hope it gets better, but I don't see it doing that. I'm ending here, so it doesn't completely ruin my view of the book. Overall It's repetitive, shallow, and gets a little boring. I really wish the writer actually cared about his project to the amount of effort he did to chp. 25 to 100. My advice, don't read it. You're unfortunately setting yourself up for disappointment...

bro, why didn't you just write a story about beast masters instead of turning the story into a completely different one. The MC even forgets he's seen blood before and his name is changed without explanation. it was fun while it last tho
