MC is a punch bag. After every serious battle he is losing consciousness due to overexertion, wounds, or blood loss. He is mentally weak but somehow manage to survive.
His sister is not smart as well. She accepted her forster parents after they took her by force from her beloved brother and even served in some organization.... Is it not clear that the one who divided you and your brother by force can not have any good will to you?
The world is a mess. Huge holes in the middle of the cities, zomby apocalypse, alien invasion, beasts attacks what else? The future will show. The government sucks. Hidden organizations even more so. Reason for alien invasion simply stupid excuse. In short: "rest only in our dreams". People definetly lacking brains there.
The more i read the more depressing and hopeless it be becomes.

This novel is overall good just have some problems with the multiple pov, i hope the author could minimize it and it's okay to have a multiple pov but it's confusing when its'son mc then suddenly a new character out of knower is having a pov jus like the guy in a cigar.

It could have been an okay apocalypse novel, but the writing is quite confusing. After ch 50, things happen suddenly, and it becomes difficult to understand what's going on. Also, the action scenes are hard to understand just from writing. How mc is able to use his pause ability to fight so much, it is difficult to understand.
Also, the initial characterization of mc, where he was a wimp, well I didn't liked that too

This is a story with potential. Potential that the author fails to deliver. There are plenty of things in this story that could have been really cool or fun had they been added or executed well. The feeling I walk away with is that this story "could" have been really fun and cool and yet misses the mark consistently.

Don't read this book or buy unto the bs that it won't be dropped. I was a fool and never made sure it was still being updated and wasted my time and money to read it just for the author to drop the book. They also seem to no longer respond to comments. great read otherwise but story will drop you in t h e middle of no where.

Honestly I was excited to read this because it sounded interesting from the synopsis and the other reviews I read but man, I am 8 chapters in and I just can't continue it anymore. The story is so hard to follow because of how fast paced it is and the inability to create a clear picture of the events happening. I had high hope and I wish the best for the author if this is his first book but there just needs to be more structure and care for a story like this to shine.

This is just the type of novel that everybody is dreading for, it's concept and creativity flamboyantly succeed my expectation, and I hope yours aswell, and has brought me bundles of satisfaction throughout the whole novel.I just started to read more consistently so I don't know if my review is acknowledged in the webnovel community but i hope it helps some people who are in the state of debate in which they want to or not read this novel. Go for it. Its a good story. Good kingdom building, mc is not too strong nor too weak, harem grows at enough slow and steady pace with proper understandings between fmc's, mc gets to know about he's origin slowly slowly.

I checked this one out because the concept intrigued me. But even at the start, I was worried that the main character's ability to pause would be far too broken to have any tension. I'm happy to say that not only is his ability balanced, the author even finds very clever ways for the main character to utilize it! I will say that the story (at least as of chapter 59 when I'm writing this) seems to not ever really give the main character a break. It seems like he's constantly being barraged by new and stronger threats that he struggles to catch up to. That's not inherently bad, but it definitely feels overbearing at times. It also feels more than a little weird and disappointing that he hasn't been able to get any secondary abilities/skills so far despite obtaining skill orbs. He does upgrade his pause ability so it's kind of similar to a skill tree in that sense but it's still odd. Especially since he seems to be the only person with a system so he should have advantages that other people don't. Simply put, I wanna see him get other skills. I'd also like it if the skills he gets are able to be upgraded in the same manner as his pause skill so that way he has to decide what to use his skill points on. Other than that, you're doing good!
