The most disappointing novel I've read this year. I expected more from this because I'm a big fan of LOTM but I just got a typical xianxian story with unnecessary infinity genre.

Truly thought this was going to be a novel with a Buddhist MC. Guess not. Got me all excited for nothing. MC's character is too fake for me. A bit too arrogant and pragmatic.
When he was weak, others show kindness to him but when other weak/new people came and join their group due to the originals dying, he only tried to introduce them to see if he can get anything out of it. Once he didn't, he ignore them and didn't care at all. He pretends to smile and be a nice person. On the second mission, he practically ignore the new people and thought if they left the new people behind, the mission would be easier.
Anyway, I read a bit more and stopped there. MC's attitude doesn't sit well with me. Others help him with sincerity even though he was weak and when it's his turn, he doesn't want to help the new/weak people to join his group if he doesn't get anything out of it.

An extremely detailed and wonderful novel marred by some of the worst translations or lazy translators ever. Welcome heaven fairies and frequent term changes. Some chapters still have the original Chinese or pinyin in them or have numerous spelling or tense errors.
If this Novel was translated properly it be the top 5 novels on this site.

WHAT THE HELL IS SIMIlAR BETWEEN THESE TWO WORDS OTHE THAN "AXE"
another example is old " peerles master pro" and new ,friggin "guru".
Please dont ruin this with a ****ty translation pls

So far so good. I'm quite happy with the re-write so far and am excited with the direction it's heading in so far. I like how the author has adapted the story a little and fleshed everything out as well. Giving it a high score now so that this novel gets noticed more but if the novel gets lower than my expectations (the author's left us for quite a while so it better be good...), you can be assured I'll change this review to become more accurate.

Pretty interesting novel that combines a few genres. Goes pretty deep into Chinese mythology which is always kinda interesting.
Unfortunately, the translation quality dropped off a cliff around late 700s. Its pretty much MTL at this point: unreadable garbage. And because it goes into Chinese mythology with a ton of complex titles and names, having awful translation makes it near incomprehensible.

A story that begins with the relationship of two "friends", due to an "accident" during the school season, the two have marriages that did not give certain and one of them a history heavier than the other (if I talking about which one is already would be a spoiler).
Tada has a company that solves problems in general, one day Gyoten appears on his way and asks to sleep in his house, they have not seen since the school season and even then they did not speak, so they had no reason for Tada let him spend the night in his house, but he ends up leaving (is explained the chapters later).
Soon one day ends up becoming several and Gyoten does not pretend to leave the house of Tada so he decided to start working with him, with them they meet new people and we are shown a few of the dramas of the lives of the two and the people they help.
For being few chapters ends up being a manga okay but it gets annoying in some parts
