Do you know how idiotic this is? Does the author not realise how people would most likely immediately riot against making Chinese the official language? Just the fact that 60,000 of the 120,000 people onboard would create a lot of hatred against the Chinese as they've now obtained, "Chinese Privilege". Whilst no one would comment on it in the short term, it would definitely become a source of slowly stirring hatred. And this would be IMMEDIATELY pushed up the second you now want to incorporate their language as the main one. It clearly said that most of the people who are on the aircraft are the most intellectual and educated people that could be found. This means that, more or less, all of them should know English as it's the most universal language. You can't honestly make me believe that not one person would say to Yao Yuan that his idea is racist and has zero actual basis. Also, lastly, you really expect me to believe, once again, that an 18 or 19 year old is willing to change their name to a completely different one, that has nothing to do with her race, ethnicity or culture? A name is an identity and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who'd easily give that up. I may have complaints, but I do get that the author probably isn't that smart and I do feel that the plot is decent. Also, great work to the translator. Zero complaints on your translating and I'm thankful for your footnotes.

Ofc this author would make the official language on the craft chinese just as i guessed in the earlier chapters... Even tho it's counterproductive af... So force everyone to learn chinese instead of using the language everyone actually knows, ENGLISH!!! They are all highly educated people so it's obvious they must all know english but NOPEEEE don't use that because some prick(mc) with a stick up his ass wants the chinese dominance... Even the chinese alphabet is counterproductive and overly complicated ffs... There is a reason why ENGISH is the universal language for science but NOPEEE lets force everyone to learn chinese instead because some moron can't think of the bigger picture... Also why would people start giving themselves chinese names wtf? This author must think that chinese is so great everyone wants to become chinese or something... How stupid is that huh? Author and his nationalistic antics are getting annoying...
