This novel is surely not for everyone. It features a convenient plot device and A LOT of exclamation marks. However if you look past that, it is by far the most interesting read I’ve had in my life. The way the author sets up narratives is unbelievable. The twilight section is probably the best fiction I’ve ever read.

I heard it's similar to REVEREND INSANITY…… and thus I came… both physically, and sexually. Yes… When it comes to anything with MC of this nature… I seek it out with reckless abandon.

Not about morality nor ethics. Not about love nor family. Not about saving the world nor destruction. It's about knowledge and power. It's about authority and freedom. Set the goal, make up your mind, research every possible way, kill your enemy, destroy every barrier in your way, make use of everything and everyone. That's the way of Leylin. That's the way of the Magus. If these words make you curious then go ahead. Go deep into reading.

I have been reading and re-reading this novel since it came out and completed. It is my favorite light novel I have ever read, even with some of the perceived flaws. I have yet to read another that I enjoyed as much! Hope to see more in the future (would love an anime or something, though I know that's hopeful).

His ambition and his ability to manipulate other characters to achieve his goals are fascinating. The depth of Leylin's character allows for an exploration of the darkest aspects of human nature, and the narrative deviates from conventional standards. The plot is skillfully crafted, creating a world full of magic and intrigue, where characters are constantly engaged in a deadly power game. The themes of relentless pursuit of knowledge and unbridled ambition add depth to the story, making it engaging.

I’m a give a review cause the reviews I’be seen are from a year ago. Great book kept me busy for a while and I read the whole thing completely through fast passes. In my opinion all I really want is a book 2 but I know it ain’t ever gonna happen maybe a manga or anime adaptation but who knows 5/5 book though honest

This story is really good for all the people who like cold, strong, logical MC's.There is the AI chip which people might not like but it is necesssary as it will help the MC make miracles and help in his progression

Fantastic book. I sincerely hope the author's previous works are ultimately translated since everything about it, starting with the world-building to the main character, is excellent. Read it if you haven't already. AI chip: Yes Evil: Yes Magic: Yes

I can tell the author put no effort into writing this novel. The mc constantly contradicts himself, the power system is basic, all the characters are the same trash especially the women(not because they are women but because the author is incredibly sexist) and the mc is boring. Take my advice and don’t read it. Oh and the translation is also very low quality.

Leylin MC: smart, will do anything for his goal, wants to achieve Eternal Life, has a cheat AI. || World Building is 5/5 || Secondary characters were 5/5 but at the later half it kind of went to 4/5 for the characters. But overall the story is good and the MC's journey is one of the best so I can recommend this to anyone who likes evil MCs.

Read it all, amazing novel. There are so many twists and turns it makes you wonder what leylins gonna do next. Every arc was good except the shadow world arc on chapter 1000.

i really dont like the fact that the system promps are removed. Btw its not an op system which gives superpowers for snacks. The world is insanely huge and i love the fact that the mc is ruthless and cold while still being able to throw jokes.There is no shipping as the mc is set on his goals and he is smart.Dont get attached to characters as unlike normal novels, here anyone can die at any point as long as the mc's interest is challenged

This book is literal perfection....some parts could be longer and there could be a little bit more of non magic stuff and relationship stuff but other than that it's great

Haven’t read it yet so ignore the stars but you actually get all the AI stuff on pandanovel which is great as on webnovel it cuts out like half of the ai stuff and it doesn’t on wuxiaworld.

A very good novel , reach it's peak at around the middle of the novel, decays after that. Have some ups and downs, a good villain MC, really nice specific moments and world building, it lacks mainly a good rival to the protagonist.

The story is just alright. I dropped after 70 chaps. You can also understand the story's mood in 40 chaps and decide whether to read more

It's the first review that I have written. It was an excellent read with highs and lows. It's in the top 5 of my favorite novels that I read so far. The world-building felt natural to read and learn about. The narrative was easy to follow and understand. The conclusion of the story was the best one so far that I ever read. It was a satisfying experience and I hope to find more gems like this. I can only recommend reading it!
