Ridge spent a decade of his life, his childhood, training at a pretentious Academy. It was all for this. So that he could serve the Riddotha family, his best friend's family.

So once he graduates, Ridge swears to protect the Riddothas with his life. He finally has everything he's worked so hard to accomplish. Until his best friend asks him to make a promise to him late one night.

Something big is at play in the Riddotha mansion, and Ridge isn't sure he's willing to risk everything he's built to find out what it is. But as more and more people flock to him asking for secrets and promises, Ridge ends up sucked into the chaos by his own little book of Oaths.
