A Curse Or A Blessing? CoB?

What would be your reaction when an... Angel?... Appears in front of you right after you died? Anyways, he says he's a messenger from some Goddess of Fertility, or whatnot.

"The Goddess despised you child of man, for you have soiled her beliefs and teachings. For this, you shall be punished in your next life..." The messenger said.

Oh great, now the Goddess of Fertility hates me. I admit I am a scum that tricked women into bed to steal their belongings. I'm a bastard that deserve to be put into hell and back... But I doubt my life in earth has been anything worse than hell anyways.

As I reminisce back to my life, tears of sorrow uncontrollably flowed out of my eyes.

"It's not fair... It's not like I wanted to, you know?... Why is it always like this?..." Tears after tears fell, tears of indignance... As always.

"..." The messenger watched the man with sorrow and pity. For he knows, all the sins committed by this man has been done merely to survive and provide for his love one.

Its all his fault. The message thought. God of Fortune and Misfortune. He remembered the name of the God with pure hatred.

A willy-nilly God. Careless and irresponsible. He is the existence that directly opposes the beliefs and teachings of his Goddess. And that God being careless that he is, threw misfortunes in one corner of the world, to just say he did his job and was done with it. And thus why he was forced to live his life the way he did. He knew that in nature this man may have the purest of heart.

He looked at the man with outmost pity once again.

"Do not despair, child of man. For the Goddess understand all your indignance. And thus, she grants you a blessing in your next life..."

Nit believing what he heard, The man looked to the angel with hope in his eyes and listen to his edict...
