A Thousand Tears second change

In the past, Chu Xiao Qiao was Emperor Zhao's first love and she was to become the future empress in Zhao state. She was born to a wealthy family and was great in martial art since very young. On her seventeenth birthday, her whole family was massacred in front of her. Then, she was poisoned and remained unconscious.

A year later, nobody expected Chu Xiao Qiao to wake up perfectly fine. She was much different than she used to be. Chu Xiao Qiao was brought to a secret place by her Senior brother, Wu Shang, to let her heal.

After fully healed, Chu Xiao Qiao spent another two years to master her sword skill and she became one of the top martial artists in Zhao State under a different name, Ah Qiao. She was trained as an assassin to murder the Emperor of Zhao, her lover, and future husband.
