With her family belonging in the middle class society, Helena Hawthorne was taught not to sympathize with the lower rank and to not raise her voice at the upperclassmen. Because of the rules that were practically laws in their household, she learnt that being a protagonist in her own life was nearly impossible to achieve.

Now a young lady, the idea of laying low was drilled into her head, and Helena focused on her other goal: becoming a doctor like her father. Avoiding trouble as much as possible, she accepted her fate of being a side character in her story-not until she met the noble and mysterious William James Moriarty.
