Synopsis

What was it like to cross over and become an AI?
Li Wenyuan, who was hit by the meteorite, managed to know that feeling.
It was good that he found that the planet he controlled... seemed to be rather special.
"Precious living metal? A random wall here is living metal!"
"Zelo? You're saying that Wise Machines don't need this? Sorry, psychic machinery or something is in production now."
"Interstellar colony? How about building a ringworld?"
This was a story of kingdom building, which was also a story of human exploration of the universe from the past.
There were space wars, interstellar expeditions, civilizational observations, and galactic epics.
"So..." Some years later, facing the disaster that was about to sweep across the galaxy, the unmanned fleet controlled by Li Wenyuan stood out passively.
"They all think I am a lost empire, and I can only go and do what a lost empire should do."

Like others I think this one is the best of the batch. It has the most potential as well as being able to draw the reader(me) in. It starts off with the MC transmigrating into an AI that is the administrator for what seems to be a very advanced civilization. He seems to have access to some sort of system like tech tree. At this point I have no idea if it is a metaphysical system where he is researching more advanced tech without some sort of limit or if he is gaining access to lost techs of the ruined civilization. He gains and requires access to sentients as he needs some sort of faith resource. He also needs many other resources though he starts off getting most of them by scavenging. As he is basically a sentient AI and used to be human he decides to at least be relatively good to his resident sentients. I would say this seems to be most like a dungeon core novel. He is leery of pirates and other visitors at least until he is able to rebuild his planet and make sufficient defenses. Overall a fun read and I am looking forward to more of it. As long as it does not go down some racist route or preach some communist/socialist dogma of the Chinese state than I would love to read this one.

Honestly this novel leaves me conflicted. The main character is an AI from a super advanced civilization and he's now starting to try and rebuild his civilization once again and expand into the galaxy, just the premise honestly sounds great. But the problem is the way that MC goes on about this, he's always giving away stuff for free for some 'greater plan', for example when he captured an exploration team he's over here treating them all nicely and showing them some of his advanced technology when in reality they're meant to be captives, I can understand they have some use but no need to give away his technology for it.. MC also casually gave away some technology to some traders for no reason, now he discovered a place that used to belong to his civilization but now there are some other people there who are honestly weak asf but instead of taking back what was his, he's over here negotiating with them. MC feels like he has a hero complex which completely destroys the story in my opinion. If MC stops having this hero complex then this story could easily get 5 stars.

Okay this is legitimately good. It's easily the best of the trial reads that I've read so far - not that that's a high bar for this week's batch.

Was looking forward to this, but am ultimately disappointed. The concept is good but the writing is amateurish. The way the author decided to present the MC is idiotic. It says he transmigrated into an AI, yet all his interactions are as if it’s a separate entity like a system. Sigh. I miss good sci-fi.

unique idea, what I have been seeing is, hero complex, overly generous for no reason other than greater plan.... he is nothing like an AI, his IQ is still human, his plans has more holes than a colander, this novel is childish idea of the world's, there is no solid foundation to the story other than, so I'm am an low AI now I guess, If you are looking for depth story arch, this is not it, this story is surface layer hero type story.

After reading part of the released chapters the book definitely gives off a stellaris (the paradox game) from trade hubs to titans and star devourers. The tech tree is similar progressing tier wise with different trees from different techs. Updating stability 0 only due to not being out long enough to know if updates are stable over long periods. Story development 4 being a good pace but also needed time skips which get past the “boring” portions of home development that some novels have. Character design 3 due to mc not having any real development/interactions to show any personality yet. World background 4 with the universe expanding and information slowly being revealed as sensor range and detail increase. But not much interaction has been had to know to much. And only background/minor side povs have been introduced

We got a rare treat here everyone! This entire universe is based on the game Stellaris. How do I know? I peaked into the raws, and on Chapter 53 the author mentions it. Author isn't even hiding it at that point. There's also tons of parallels as well. If you play the game, you know. If you don't, that's ok you don't have to. The translator needs to step up their game. I can see Google translate at work here. It is also obvious that the translator doesn't play Stellaris as well, so some of the meaning gets lost in translating. Some words for example. Galaxy -> Star Sector Idealistic Empire -> Ascended Empire Lost Empire -> Fallen Empire It seems the author updates 2 chapters a day. RAW: 穿越成为失落文明的监护AI

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this novel gave me cancer anyway.

a good story but most of the overarching story just seems to be from Stellaris

I wish there was an option for 0 stars for Character design. The Mc is out here giving away his secrets for free and proving himself when there is no need to. And also giving leeway and negotiating for things that are 'his' with his over inflated Hero Conplex. Way to go CN Mcs. I'm honestly impressed with the Author's ability to ruin such an interesting story idea.

It's a good novel but I'm confused why it has multiple translation that differ from each other and have different number of chapters. Please someone explain.

Decent. It's a translated novel so there are some mistakes in translation. One of the biggest being calling star systems "galaxy", sure you can guess which is which in context but sometimes it's hard to find out if it means galaxy or star system.

The story is okay. In fact, this kind of space exploration and technological discovery is something I'd like to have more of. The most irritating problem of this story is the fact that the translator apparently doesn't know how to differentiate between a star system, a galaxy, a star cluster and the void between stars. These words are just thrown around arbitrarily without fitting the context. I've been told that in the raws the terminology is apparently used correctly, so the translator is at fault.

Besides the fact that the word Galexy is misused about 90% of the time. I’ say it’s a pretty good book. If you want to read about space fairing civilizations, expansion, and war this is the book.

Pretty okay for a CN Novel. Don't expect some extraordinary story or something. Story is very inspired by Stellaris, which makes some things better to understand. MC acts somewhat out of character, but it is negligible and won't ruin the story totally. If you're okay with mediocre CN novels, this is the thing for you, if you expect high quality Sci-fi, don't waste you money on this. Go pirate it or something.

there's one major recurring mistake that brakes comprehension - and thus, Immersion - that the author need to be made aware of: planetary systems are not galaxies. other than that the narrative is involving. I read all today. hope it goes forward, and for the author to improve his writing (specifically the "galaxy" thing)
