No one really knows where or how the Zodians came to be, neither does anyone know how they came to be; from the stars, from magical entities, or nature of chance?

Only one thing is known, they have overshadowed the normal human race with traits or abilities that give an undeniable edge over their peers.

Over the centuries, the Zodians spanned across the globe, warring, trading, interacting in place of normal humans. Now, in modern times, the abilities and traits that strictly set the 12 Zodiacs apart started to wane and loosen, along with a new breed of Zodians; as it becomes more hectic -- humans, called markless, is showing signs of inhibiting the same traits and abilities as the Zodians, whom they have shunned away.
