Here Be Dragons

Banneret Kelsey is a dragonrider, and an officer in her Majesty’s newly formed Royal Air Corps. She’s been sent on a retrieval mission to recover a dragon egg stolen from a caravan several months ago, when she finds herself unexpectedly responsible for establishing a brigade of dragon riders in Allentown, a strategically important fort on the southern border of the kingdom. With the legitimacy of her authority questioned at every turn, a lack of favorable recruits, and no dragons to ride even if she could recruit anyone, her mission might well be impossible.

But impossible never daunted her before. Join Kelsey as she uses her sharp sword and well-honed wit to overcome all obstacles on her mission to create the leanest, meanest dragonrider brigade this side of the Feral Mountains!

A note: I don’t like that when I tagged this with female-lead, it automatically put the romance tag on. This isn’t focused on romance. There might be romantic subplots at some point, but I just want to let Kelsey go where she wants. Mostly that seems to be places where she can do her duty, see dragons, eat good food, and maybe make some friends in between wrecking evil machinations and dealing justice to deserving fools.
