Reign Royal was living a picture-perfect life. She has her dream internship at a local paper, a supportive long-term boyfriend, and her best friend Jude who has been in her life since elementary school. However, Reign will soon learn that her lifelong best friend has harbored secret resentment towards her like she harbored unrequited feelings for him. Her boyfriend is obsessive and unhinged. Her father is a button man for the Horsemen Mafia. All of this is hidden from her by a world of lies her father has built around her. All of it will start to crumble the moment she gets assigned a research project related to the suspicious deaths around her hometown.
