Synopsis
The purpose of all creation is progression. To advance from one state to the next growing in power, and freedom. Once a civilization achieves an acceptable level they are permitted to join the trials. A cosmic war designed to advance the strong and cull the weak.
The war takes many shapes and is fought upon countless battlefields, success brings blessings, failure brings death. To ensure that new comers to the war are given adequate chance to survive there are rules established that govern the war and its participants, however, what happens when one of the first participants breaks the rules?
I suppose we'll find out.
