Sania's wish to marry the man dearest to her came crumbling down after her father, the King of Cyris, insisted on sending him to war to prove his worth by making it back alive.

However, months after the war, he was declared dead, leaving Sania heartbroken and devastated. To make matters worse, she was compelled to marry a ruler from a distant kingdom.

Just when Sania thought that she had been through enough torture, she got to her new husband's castle and learned that his entire family despised her because they wanted the King to marry somebody else and not her. Well that was all she was made to believe.

Nonetheless, Sania tried to fit in and make things work in her new home. But while she was at it, the same man who was proclaimed dead unexpectedly showed up at the castle to serve as her new bodyguard before a pending invasion.

"Damien?" She froze,
"This has to be another dream," Sania mumbled, her jaws dropping in astonishment as she stared at the man who ought to have been dead.

She had numerous questions in the head. Was he truly Damien in the body of Peter, did he reincarnate? Could he have survived? Nothing made sense to her, could it be another plot between Tehila and Taffi's mother? She wondered even though Tehila was long gone from the castle and this was all Taffi's doing. Does Taffi know that he is Damien? Or is he just Peter who happened to look like Damien?

Although from the look on his face, while he introduced himself, Sania could tell that it was truly Damien and not a lookalike, that physiognomy was too perfect to be imitated, and she could tell two people apart even if they were identical twins. Or does Damien have a brother that he never told her about? Sania was losing her mind.

"I… I… " she stuttered,
"I need to take a walk, alone."
