It's no secret that science and technology are advancing rapidly every year. From brain implants to artificial intelligence, DNA alteration came as no surprise to the humble citizens of Maryland USA.

When a scientist known by her alias "Zalic" and for her not so subtle support of dictatorship and comparisons to the human society as nothing more than test monkeys makes a breakthrough in altering human DNA to the point of giving the host unimaginable power, she goes on a rampage creating more and more 'supers' to fulfil her ultimate desire of complete human control, leaving canisters of the altered DNA all over the city. With her right hand and first successful experiment, Twister, there seems to be nothing, not even the government that can stop her.

Analise McGregor is a waitress at a small 80s themed diner in Maryland. When one evening finds a strange pair of rings in the back room of the restaurant she works in, her life becomes turned upside down when she is approached in a dark alleyway with the known villain herself, Twister.
