The Egyptian Mummy

WHOOSH! BOOM! SCREECH! The huge jet plane soared over the gigantic oceans and emerald forests and then all of a sudden it stopped, and then there was a ripple of murmurs and gasps as it started to fall! CRASH! the plane landed abruptly on the pavement of an unknown country. Somewhere amongst the thousands of dead passengers Beth groaned as she lifted her head from the soft, green grass, she squinted around her looking for Luke, Craig and Grace (her brothers and sisters) finally she spotted them, they were all awake now. "Lets go and find mum and dad!" said Grace she was the youngest and wouldn't understand if they told her that their parents probably hadn't survived. So they started searching for them only for Grace's sake, when they finally found them they were covered in blood and lifeless. Grace howled "mummy? Daddy? Answer me? what’s wrong with them Craig?" "They’re dead," mumbled Craig

Grace and Luke stared and stared and stared they had never felt so much grief in their lives. All of a sudden they heard a humming noise it was coming from behind them and for the first time they noticed that there was a pyramid behind them and if it was a pyramid they must be in..... EGYPT!!!!! How exciting they all forgot about their parents and followed the humming noise until they ended up inside the pyramid. Suddenly the huge brick door closed with a bang, now they were it pitch-blackness suddenly they heard Luke shout that he had found the door. Together they tried to open it but it was no use it was locked, someone had tricked them into following the humming so they would get trapped in the pyramid! But who could it be? They didn't know anyone here so why would a complete stranger lock them in? They thought to themselves. Beth looked around even though she couldn't see a thing and out of the corner of her eye she saw a little patch of light!!! Why didn't she see it before? She walked closer to it and figured that is was probably some torches someone left turned on she shouted to the others “ look I found some torches!” only when she touched it she realized it wasn’t torches it was a MUMMY!

ARRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!! She screamed it was the only thing she was able to do really. The mummy chased them round and round the pyramid till the four friends heard some voices they were coming from a door. Craig shouted to the others “in here, quick” they all toppled in one after the other when they got themselves untangled they noticed three people looking at them in amusement. Quickly they made friends and found out that the new people were a family the mother was Jasmine the father was Jack and the daughter was Jacqueline the four orphans explained what had happened and how they had got there. Then Jack stated something very unexpected he said “ why don’t you be our family Jasmine and I would love taking care of you!” “ You really mean it!” said grace “ yes I do” So they became one very happy family and never heard of the mummy again!
