The Men of Gordon MoG

Two nations, The Einrich Empire and the Reinbose Republic, have been locked in a war for nearly 10 years. 80 years before the story, Einrich sent The Men of Gordon, an elite task force comprised of 57 men capable of stopping an entire army with individually, to attack Reinbose. Only 15 days of fighting later and Reinbose had been pushed back some 500 kilometers. However, after 2 months of fighting on the front lines, the Men of Gordon mysteriously attacked Einrich. Reinbose, thinking that they had a new ally, tried to advance on Einrich, but the Men of Gordon went against Reinbose as well. They created a 350-kilometer-wide border between the two superpowers and cut off all connections with the world. They soon faded into legend, only leaving the Land of Solitude in their wake. Since then the war had continued to be fought in the "northern countries", north of Einrich.

Stanley Freeman lives in the Red Light District of Einrich and joins up with the Guardian Force who are tasked with manning the border between the Empire and the Land of Solitude. On his first day of being in the force, he fucks up badly and becomes a wanted criminal, he then finds himself running out into the unknown Land of Solitude only to meet Michael Hickhox, a wandering traveler from the northern country of Rivercrest. Michael and Stanley then head across the Land of Solitude to Reinbose to try to get them to stop the war.
