All Di Xuan could remember after being thrown into the human world was that she had been terribly wronged! And this all happened because of that damned Demon Lord who had somehow destroyed half of the Immortal Realm and turned to put the blame on her!

After she was placed in the body of a sickly young girl who was banished to a temple in a secluded mountain, so far away from the supposedly bustling life of the human world, Di Xuan was tasked to fix the damage she had caused.

She would have to catch all the runaway ghosts and evil spirits and return them to the underworld, and if she could, turn the evil Demon Lord over to the Holy Judgement panel to amend for her wrongdoings. And only by then would she be allowed to return to the Immortal Realm and live the supposed leisure life befitting of a Fortune Goddess.

Di Xuan thought that this would be a hard task that would need hundreds or even thousands of years to accomplish, and therefore had begged all her might for the benevolent talking potato to cut her some slack. But! this!

What the hell was this?!!!

Whenever she opened her cursed Qiankun bag, all ghosts and spirits would rush to enter her trap whilst waving a white flag, shouting love and peace…

And so, this happened:
Mighty Talking Potato: “Catch all the runaway spirits into this Qiankun bag and eradicate all evil from the human world.”
Di Xuan, whilst inwardly rolling her eyes: “Aye aye, Captain!”
In the wilderness…
Di Xuan: “You! Come here and let me catch you!”
The Mourning Child Spirit: “Aye aye, Lady Boss!”
Di Xuan: “As for you!”
*pointing fingers at a certain handsome man who kept on winking at her as if he had some kind of an eye problem
That certain Demon Lord: “What is it, Wifey? Are you tired? Do you want me to massage you? Come, come into my arms..”
Di Xuan: “Scram!”

Why was the supposed epitome of evil Demon Lord so submissive to her? When the righteous Di Xuan tires herself running here and there to accomplish her task and ascend, all the Demon Lord cares about is to quickly marry her and bind her to his side.
