Broke and destitute, Freya Wang participated in the Tests of St Vlad's Academy for the Gifted to become one of their substitute teacher.

She was sure it was not going to be easy and she was willing to work hard.

But could someone tell her why some of the kids turned into a wolf and actually howled at her?

Or why that man in all black hissed at her?

It turned out, the "gifted" meant completely different from what she had in mind.

Werewolves, Vampires, Witches, Shamans....could she quit? Yes, but she was too broke for it.

How would she teach anything?
