All was well, until the Bear clan attacked. Estrid was just a young girl, not even a shield-maiden. As she watched her father run, and her brother's be cut down; she didn't know what to do. As she was called something, other than she was, her inner instincts took over. Perfectly placing an ax, into the intruders neck; she meets him.
Jarl Ivvar of the Bear clan. Known to be merciless till the end, and stronger than any bear. Supposedly. As he watched her, technically kill his best raider. As he was only in search of a woman, he found her daughter instead. Taking her captive, and then to his settlement. Once there, Ivvar held council with his wife, to deal with Estrid.
Upon meeting the three sons of her enemy, she was forced to be in their care. The eldest seemed to be the appropriate choice, though something about him; reminded her of home. Able to help her clear some thoughts, she in return made a fine kill for the feast; showing up the middle brother, due to his ego.
Upon returning, the young girl heard some news. News that would break another spirit. What will Estrid do now? How can she feel about someone, she's never meet; let alone never lived around.
