Maggie survives a car crash that kills her girlfriend, Violet. At the time she had abilities, but she didn’t think to use them.
Everything returns to normal after staying in Virginia with her father and returning to her best friend Max. As spur of the moments do, she packs her things to go to school, where she’ll be properly trained, with Max. She learns the ins and outs of her abilities and where people fall in line with good and evil.
