MC did only ever pretend once that he caredabout the rest of the world, the rest is ridiculous bullshit to make his OP ness a little less mary sue like (Didn't work at all).

Short chapters mostly full of online comment and reaction bullcrap to put even less content into as many words as possible.Author skipped how and when MC got the system, it literally starts at such a high level that MC could retire in an instant.MC is shallow, selfish and an absolute dumbass who has not even heard of common sense.In addition malovent practices and fake medicine is endorsed and propagated without comment.

I really really want to like this novel. It is well written and the characters aren't too bland even though they don't matter at all in the next arc. But there are some key problems that make it impossible: 1. The second short story (simulated life) within this novel is a festival of cliques and not interesting at all. 2. Face slapping is a sport and while the MC doesn't always take the first opportunity to do it, it will always happen in the end. 3. There is no red line, no overarching goal for the MC to achieve. 4. The system by itself is reducing any stakes to almost nothing. I don't mean for the author to add something stupid like, immediate death or destruction of the soul, but there could at least be monetary losses or some kind of debuffs. 5. The author drags on and on about unimportant stuff, skipping chapters is sometimes the only way to still gain a modicum of enjoyment.

Really bad discount Budda Palm MC supposedly transmigrated, but has no motivations at all. He acts and thinks like he is on a holiday trip, he also just knows things and has things just on hand whenever it is convenient for the story.

To shallow for my taste. No build up, no background, no struggle. Just the MC suddenly gaining an ability and solving every problem with it. NPC(Side-Characters, but not in this novel) are fake, either way to trusting or unreasonably antagonistic. Very Mary-Sue-ish.

This novel had a very good start, almost exciting. The system is novel and contains hidden dangers. So what went wrong? The entire build up is wasted! MC doesn't die (no surprise) and the story changes from a good novel, driven forward by the motivations and ideas of the MC, to a mediocre political drama in which the MC uses the system to cheat at every opportunity. It just isn't interesting to read about the MC cheating his way to fame and fortune. The world building breaks down at that point as well, what was once a nebulous empire with basic technology becomes a convoluted mess of different political systems with a very narrow technological development path. It becomes clear pretty quickly that the author has no clue about communication networks and how the basic building blocks of modern technology work. I could deal with a mediocre and very illogical world, if the plot or characters held my attention in any way, but they don't. The MC becomes 1 dimensional, he even uses a spell to deal with basic communication, the side-characters are stupid cliches and the systems good and evil mechanics become a source of constant frustration.

This novel is like a watching your favorite sports team lose a game, because the entire team is drunk. Utterly disappointing! I was excited to get a novel with a smart MC who Relies on more than just his cheat, or at least has to spent some effort to use his cheat. I was totally wrong, the hard parts are skipped outright and in the end it is just standard OP MC killing shit. Not worth anyone's time.

So in the beginning I thought this novel had potential. The Cheat didn't seem too OP(I was wrong), the MC made some actually smart and careful decisions(that stopped completely somewhere after chapter 10) and the side characters seemed to have their own goals and thoughts(Didn't really change, thay just aren't relevant any more, except to boost the MC when it is convenient). So what went wrong? 1. The cheat became the motherload of all stupid loot boxing mechanism. The advantages keept compounding(Breathing technique to gain 1XP per level with no actual effort/time investment after level 10) and every other skill is literally pay to win. I have not a single clue why the MC is even training anything besides the necessary amount to gain control of his own body. Archery training is especially useless. 2. As mentioned above, the Breathing Technique is king, investing every available Exp in it is only logical and way more efficient than anything else the MC could do. It is not even explained why the MC stop investing after he rightfully recognized how important that skill is. It is just skipped out. 3. Story got a lot more monotonous and boring after the Side-Characters stopped being relevant.

Really bad translation. I am not a native speaker so I am often uncertain if seemingly wrongly arranged words are actually grammatically wrong, but this novel has so many weird and simply wrong sentences that I am certain that the translation isn't done by someone who actually knows English and the original language. Besides that I am really annoyed by the constantly changing currencies that don't make sense at all. Just an example: MC can't afford upgrade of his immortal stone because it is 100000 Yuan (in a former chapter it was 100000 Points) (Yuan does not even exist in this world), Brother ows someone 2000 Silver, which is 2Million Yuan(Quote MC). 1 Silver is 1 Point in the beginning of the story. Random weak ass pill is 100 Points (Supposedly 100+ Silver, source OC). 2 Books is 100 Yuan. This just doesn't make any sense. Leave fing Yuan out of this, nobody needs it and nobody wants it. I recommend to change translator or let a native speaker check each chapter for the most common errors.

The premise of this story is halfway decent, the author had some interesting ideas and tried to pull an interesting spin on an old genre. The major problem with this novel is that the author utterly fails to express emotions in a convincing way. The MC feels wooden and constructed because he has either too much emotions or none at all. Side-Characters are a lot better, but not really relevant due to the premise of this story. World building is okay-is, not good, but vague enough to be believable. Differences in planets are almost nonexistent, but again, this isn't a slice of life or exploration type of story. Pasing is another problem, we either get way to much information about things we don't need to care about at all, or not enough to really imagine what is going on.

I really don't know why this trash has such a high rating. MC has a cheat and with no effort of his own can face slap anyone at any time. He is literally boss after two tiny little choices. What is the point of writing a book in which the same scene repeats over and over. Why tell a story with no characters, no suspense and most off all, no feelings. MC could have been replaced by a lamppost and it wouldn't have changed a single thing about the story in the first 10 chapters. Side Characters are not only card board cliches, but also terribly stupid. For some reason female OC lose all sense of reason around the MC and become wastes of space.

A Cultivation novel written for six year olds. Posturing and wasting opportunities included. MC has a very low IQ and most decisions seem arbitrary. Why the author is so reluctant about killing while still doing it is a mystery to me. Seriously, an old and powerful Devil Cultivatior 'knocking out' an enemy and then leaving? Or did stabbing a downed enemy mean killing them. I don't know because the writer shyies away from actually writing about death and killing. My main complaint is about the way this book is written, not about the world building or characters (I have seen better, but it is webnovel, so my expectations are low). I won't be continuing, but a well done Manga might get my attention.

It rarely happens to me that I don't understand a book at all. Is this supposed to be comedy? A tragedy? A lesson? Maybe the jokes and recognizable quotes got lost in translation. I really would like to know what this book is supposed to be, what message it is trying to send. Can't even review this properly, Characters are stereotypes so far and MC is a non-entity. World Building is not there, normal World, all consequences of an Immortal just casually walking around are ignored.

You are forgetting a few things. Within the first chapter was mentioned: - The distance plays a major role. The closer, the faster the download. - There is a freebie every 3 days, in which download is instant. - The download can be interrupted and changed at will. At no point is meaningful interaction with others part of the requirements, or even encouraged. Yes, seeing someone use a skill spread to up learning, but the fastest way to gain a high amount of skills within the rules is to kidnap, abduct, seduce or simply knock out and sedate other characters. But what is the most annoying of all is the freebie every 3 days. There are three categories the MC needs to care about: Cultivation(Solved with freebie instantly), Bloodline(OH no, 3 days to get that, how awful) and skills. Talent practically meaningless because the MC doesn't need time and effort to learn something. A few more skills and time spend on integration in to the MCs fighting style is all that is needed. Only talent he really needs is Cultivation, but that is just to save time. Enough skills and money and resources will flow. MC knows or can find out the best bloodline easily, because the system gives him that information. Or how do you explain the just transmigrated MC instantly knew about the value of a Cultivation technique just after learning its name? MC can gain a super strong bloodline after 3 days, which means the only thing holding him back is skills and skills are everywhere. But does the MC even need a bloodline immediately, no not really, because he isn't invested into the story besides trying to survive. At any further point in the story when the threat of death isn't imminent you are going to have to ask yourself why, why doesn't the MC just leave, he knows the story will play out without him and as such for his own peace of mind it would be easy to just leave. In one year, just by doing odd jobs, or just walking around the MC could check thousands of people for useful skills and gain hundreds of them. No combat necessary. I critique the system because the author invalidated most of the story in the first chapters. If these additional rules didn't exist and the author actually though about how the MC could survive before the system made him OP, there would still be hope, but as it is, the other rules are really only there and get used because the author intentionally twists his story to fit the mold he desired. In essence, the system rules were changed because the author though it inconvenient to actually write a introduction to his story, that worked with an OP, but restricted system. Instead the author chose to thoughtlessly add a restriction like money afterwards to invalidate a cheat/freebie, but again, didn't think about the implications. Which makes the reader uncertain from the beginning if the rules of the system are actually as restrictive as they seem, or if they are just for building false suspense in a power fantasy type of novel.

I can't believe it. A good novel in Trial Read. First, World Background and MC Character design is very normal and really not relevant to this novel. MC is more like an NPC who plays different roles, depending on the kind of funeral story he takes part in. Most of the time the MC isn't even there, not even as an observer. Why do I still think this is absolutely one of the best novels on webnovel? Because the author manages to create real emotion in me with every short story leading to and about the funeral of really interesting and unique characters. At least I feel that way while reading, in hindsight this novel is full of cliches and stock image characters. But all this doesn't matter while reading, because the writing, and I assume the translation, quality is JUST THAT GOOD!!! If I ever recommend something, give this novel a try. I can't describe just why I am touched so deeply by this, but please please for once, let a good novel pass trial read.

Hello I am a system. I have rules. They are there so that you, the MC, don't get way too OP too fast. Hm you say that I have exceptions for the rules. That is right. When the author does not want to waste brain power on actually thinking things trough he is able to change the rules at will. Why? I am just a system. The author is my creator, not the other way around. This doesn't make for a good story and makes every dangerous situation appear like the author intentionally screwed over the MC. This doesn't make for a good story? The MC is a brainless fool? Yes, of course. This is a power fantasy.

I just don't get this book. There are brainless MCs, but of all the MCs I have ever encountered this one is the most self-destructive I have ever encountered. MC walks a path where resources and Cultivation techniques are provided for practically nothing. He isn't fighting for benefits,he has no need too, but just because he is stubborn he gets into conflict all the time. Then he goes around poisoning others for no reason or benefit. It is like he is trying to create as many blood feuds as possible. The MC was destined to be a winner in life but because he can't take a steep back, is needlessly evil and cruel, can't look at his own situation objectively and is courting death needlessly, he is destined to walk a stony path. Bdw. Side-Characters are cannon fooder and paper thin, world building is illogical and doesn't really make sense in the context of the story.

MC is OP, world surrenders and gives everything to him, the audience claps, THE FUCKING END. I can't imagine how anyone would like this. There is no excitement, no action, no suspense. It is just a cheater rampaging trough a badly designed and "completely not copied, I swear" world. Why everyone else doesn't just quit this badly written disaster of a game is impossible to understand. I know System novels are OP and life from funny interactions, reactions and the breaking of the status quo, but for this to be even remotely interesting you actually need other, at least semi independent individuals.

You know besides the usual propaganda and the author having no clue about Europe and history outside of China is was actually not bad. MC was OP and took himself way to seriously and others were stage probs for the MC, but that is normal for a transmigration story. Characters were meh, but at least his wife was halfway competent. System was biased, but had a few interesting tricks. Side characters had names and sometimes even a personality. Ending was rushed and really unsatisfactory. Forgot why I read that novel to the end. I am not sure what I am defending anymore. I will see myself out.

I just don't understand why people like these types of novels so much. To make it clear this novel features emotional and physical abuse, non-consent relationships, abuse of power and victim blaming. This is not romance, this is abuse. Forcing someone to do something against their will, no mather if you use power, money, status or physical strength as leverage is abuse.
