"Knew you'd do it." She heard Sir Evans say, and she blinked as he suddenly came up to her. There was a proud grin on his lips. "That Lost was resistant, not immune. The fact that your halberd had even injured it showed just how strong you are." He patted her head. "Good work."

Hours later, when the sun had long set, Evans gathered everyone from Louis' company to where they usually planned their next move. He had them all sit around the couches. Told them to get comfortable.

It was late in the afternoons now. He and Io had made it to Louis' base in the morning, and they'd been introduced to everyone. It was an odd experience. He'd seen the same scene from the game. And now he'd experienced in-person; heard the same lines word-by-word.

He glanced at her for a moment. Blond hair, with eyes of dull silver. She could've easily passed as a model back on Earth. She could probably do it still. With her top that didn't cover her stomach, and those tight-fitting jeans—it was a look that wholly didn't fit with a veteran that lived in a dying world.

Evans whistled, and then winced. He'd been massaging his wrists as he was reading through his Status. He'd pressed wrong then. Grazed the bruise that was forming across his hand. It hurt.

And there at the center stood a monolith. A monster nearly 10 feet in height, with engorged shotguns as arms and a massive musket replacing its skull. Its jaws were made of rusted iron, and its teeth made of bullet casings. Its legs were made of coiled flesh, each dripping with steaming blood.

Ugh. He was already dreading the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood. He did not have fun exploring that Anor Londo wannabe.

Anime & Comics · Ventus889
There was a man fighting against a particularly large Lost. His brown hair whipped to the side as he leapt under the Lost's claw, revealing bright red eyes that glowed in the dark. Puffs of steam rose from the sides of the gas mask he wore, mixing into the flames that swirled around his sword.

He followed the feeling, and soon his eyes fell on a young man. With hair of light brown, though dirtied with ash and dust. His shirt was worn loosely, and an oversized blazer hung from his shoulders as a makeshift cloak. His green eyes were fixed onto a burning barrel, tired and worn.

A woman dressed white rags. A black cloak was worn around her, a cowled hood placed over white hair. Bandages were strewn haphazardly around her arms and legs. She was laying by the Bloodspring, her back resting on its roots. The white flowers grew around her legs. The glowing specks floated around her. Circling her.

He found a tree made from white roots, coiling upwards towards the sky. Specks of glowing white permeated from it, falling down to the white sprouts spreading across the ruined street. From where he was standing, it almost looked like the roots were forming a hand, reaching vainly towards the sky.

And in doing so, it released enough energy to rival that of tens of nuclear bombs. A bright white overwhelmed her vision, and suddenly her ears rang as she was sent flying back. Her Suit cracked in several places, and not even Extremis could completely protect her against the heat.

The girl had seen their stunt on the live television, it seemed. And it was clear she was intent on dragging her brother by the ear for being so reckless. He let Jin Woo deal with her on his own—he'd mentioned that he had something he wanted to talk about with her as well.

So, instead, he forced the Nomus into a game. He stopped attacking and focused on dodging. He swerved to-and-fro, bobbing and weaving around the Villains. The Nomus—too dumb to think of anything else—bulldozed through the Villains in their path as if they were bowling pins. Most who were smashed in died right after.

It was a young man, with red hair and eyes, accentuated by the fires that burnt around him. He looked entirely out of place—dressed in nothing but a buttoned shirt and a pair of jeans. Only the strange black gauntlet-like contraption covering his arms made him seemingly fit for combat.

Only one of them is different. A girl with bright pink hair and scope-like eyes. She wondered if those eyes were her Quirk. Was it some sort of in-built scope? Did it allow the girl to zoom in on something? If so, by how much? Ten times? A hundred? A thousand? Maybe even more? Or did it do-

The Butterfly of Delirium screeched as her halberd tore into its left wing. She took a breath, bobbed under a bolt of liquid poison as she pulled her halberd back. She spun on her heel, momentum building, and she swung her halberd onto the Butterfly's chest.
