Shameless review by the author, here. This is more of a note to myself for the first book I'll ever make. It's starting to become more difficult to write these days because of outside discouragement but I didn't want that to stop me from finishing this story. The plan was to complete a story I had in mind from DEC-JAN. I planned the entire story within a week, but this idea was very old, and I needed to have some existing material to work with. It was never a story I held dear to my heart, since I intended to improve my craft and develop a habit of writing everyday. As you know, I didn't bother to reread and edit early chapters. I realised that I'm only on the 26th chapter which is about 12% into the story and we have yet to reach the 'Dimension' aspect. Be warned that I might just rush certain parts for the sake of finishing the story before the end of January. If it does go beyond that, then I might just stockpile volumes with hiatus in between weekly updates. It's obvious that this has little readership, but if by the end of the 'free' story, people are willing to spend coins on it, I will rewrite the entire story and go premium. Otherwise, TDTD should ideally finish around 150-200. My mind constantly works backwards as I write so I apologise if you are confused as you read. That's not your fault, just mines. Somethings that the synopsis just kinda doesn't explain is that its a romance, if it wasn't obvious who the two are, it's going to be painfully slow since, this is a male-leading action story fighting dragons. There won't be smut and there won't be harem, I mean they are soul bound? Won't that be cheating on your spouse? The title would be more something like 'The tale of the husband dealing with his psychopathic in-laws'. than any other love-interests. I might add one as a joke maybe. Commented I really liked this chapter, the story told by the elder no doubt gave lots of immersive content. He would have sounded quite suspicious if that was what the writing suggested, but perhaps not with the way the story is progressing. I had thought the elder was the same elder from before, they both sat on a bench and it might be quite repetitive to encounter them in the same way. Something like plot armour, whereby the answers are given to the characters through old men sitting on benches and telling them everything. Nevertheless it’s a nice anecdote by Ewan. There could be a better force to prevent the MCs from getting their answers other than an upcoming storm, it really feels like they have all the time they need tbh. Lovely descriptions as always.

Commented Author here! Thank you for completing the prologue of TDTD. I've always wanted to write a story about dragons in a litRPG world. There was no actual plot for this world initially, but I decided to write everything from scratch for the December WPC 2023. I also plan to at least, complete it by end of January next year (we'll see how it goes.)
Shameless as this may sound, but there was no Dragon webnovel that quenched my thirst, and I was an impatient reader that wanted non-linear and fast-paced storytelling. Thus, I made it my priority to do so for TDTD.
And... romance is included in one those priorities. So look forward to it.
