Was good until he got stomped by a kid in the 20th chapter and got his ring stolen. Don't read because the MC has nothing special about him other than hatching an egg his uncle got him in the beginning of the story. Other than that, he has no remarkable talents at all. If he didn't discover the tower on his property he'd just be an average wizard with nothing else going for him. Frustrating read.

Was one of the best HP fanfics that I have read on this site to be honest.
Very well structured, and actually had a proper way to go with the plot and making a character that actually didn't stand on the side as a side character.
Too bad this hasn't been updated for 10+ months.
Guess it goes in the forever hiatus bin :P

Really amazing and unique story, MC is 2 years older(same age as Cederic) and has his own storyline. Really interesting with how MC changes the already known canon. Sadly there hasn't been an update for sometime but there's always hope!

Its REALLLY BORING. What I mean is that it gets very mundane very fast. The mc dosnt really do anything other than hang out with his family and considering I expected to read about an mc learning magic I was very disappointed. Also mc is supposedly talented but learning anything takes an extremedy long time which I would have been okay with if he hadnt mentioned how talented he was before.

Pretty good fanfiction. Has the standard wish fulfillment aspect that most reincarnated HP fics have, but it has a plot and purpose instead of the aimless powerjerk. MC is pretty cool, and doesn't literally only study magic. There are relationships between characters original and canon, and more plot than the books without deviating from canon. He has his own things to do and canon doesn't really concern him. Overall good fic.

This is one of the best(if not best) harry potter fanfic I have ever read. It has all the things; great character design, world Background and a proper story development which does not necassary go with the canon. All in All it is 5/5 for me if not for updating stability.

Overall it is probably the best fan-fic I have ever read and might be the best I ever will read. I hope the author continues to write this amazing story to its completion. I loike many people love the pace and the struggle the MC has to go through to gain power and even have the MC be knocked down off their pedestal a few time to keep them in check. I also like that the author didn't go the route of making the MC the heir to dozens of houses out of nowhere for no real needed reason. I also enjoy the dynamic between the MC and his main 3 friends as I believe it gives a good balance in the story to keep the MC grounded so that he doesn't all of a sudden become this powerful wizard that Noone can beat and the few times he does go against some professional wizards it has always been with him with the advantage to show that if he wasn't able to trick them then he probably would not have succeeded or have him targeted any more competent wizards or witched then he also would have probably failed. The final thing I will mention is the new main plot as how I view it with this huge almost 2nd war that os being waged between uncle John and Declan that I can't wait to see happen in the future and what new spells that the MC will create to help his uncle prepare for the coming conflict. There are few more points I would like to mention but at this point whoever os reading this should just read the book already and write a review of their own.

I'm loving the story.
From few HP fanfic I've read they are always so simlar heir to multiple houses or their so powerful that they can use fiendfyre or protego diabolica and control at perfectly in 3 year of Hogwarts which was decently fun to read but it gets boring quite quickly when everyone is writing HP fanfic like that.
While Alex is OP for his age group I don't think he can fight ***** wizard trained for combat like auror unlike other fanfic which I find refreshing and realistic for a HP universe.
I also like the fact that MC has only read up to book 5 and is friend with Cedric who dies in the book forces him to be careful when interfering book events unlike other fanfic that take over Harry's prophecy or manifest destiny their own goal when their are very young which is not so realistic.

I read this on RoyalRoad and it's the best HP fan fiction have read so I decided to pop here for review since I saw it here. Probably best fan fiction of any series actually. Mc is extremely competent and smart, but is not some "op" character with cheats. Story also feels like it 100% meshes into HP universe. Characters are also fun and three dimensional.
Overall I can't find any faults and it's just extremely fun read. Grammar is also really good.

This has every thing a harry potter Fanfic needs. Its good that the mc has his own adventures with his own friends instead of leechin on Harry's. It's funny and it bring lots of different and unique ideas plus it is more towards the books than the movies. I also like the family dynamic it always makes me laugh and it was interesting to see how mcs family interacts with the wizarding world and other Nobel families
