What happens when a dragon who had to watch as all of his kin were killed at the humans' mercy before finally falling himself and being reincarnated as a member of such detestable race?
Sen, who convinced himself that he will destroy humanity as revenge, finds himself as part of this complicated species that constantly tests his true intentions. There is the kind and loving family along with agreeable friends on one side, and the rest of the world on another.
The once-dragon is stuck in a conundrum where his newfound care for certain individuals is constantly clashing against his ever increasing list of reasons to end humanity, and kindness is losing.
The story could have been more well written, as grammar mistakes aren't that rare to find – some repeated so often they make me question whether it is my knowledge of English which is lacking. The story of the world around the protagonist could have been better exposed, and so could the development of the story itself – though I don't particularly have any insightful recommendation for this. Character development is without a doubt the best this story has to offer, everyone has their own qualities and their own thinking, their actions are also always in accordance to their beliefs and absolutely do not need the MC to do anything with their lives.
Promising story overall with qualities rarely seen on web novels, plus Sen's moments of senseless arrogance are definitely entertaining!
Great overall book the ending seemed closer out fast but was designed to be more then one book. And last chapters MC was in and out. First 200 chapters do suck you into the book.
I can’t believe I did this but with only the last arc of the book I thought it was over and 3 years later I just happened to notice another arc to finish up so just when I got nothing too read I can restart this book and finally get that ending it’s the little things in life that get me through
Story of a beta -Red Dragon- whose all race been hunted down by humans, he is the last dragon. As a revenge he starts to hunt down humans. A goddess kills and reincarnates him as human. All the revenge goes to trash. He starts to protect his race's butchers and ppl liked this bullcr*p. So simply story of a sub cuck who likes to serve his tormentors. Sissies will love it i'm sure. Not my cup of tea.
Really appreciate the storyline, wish it could have been more fluid. The ending was rushed and we didn't get enough peace time storyline. Overall a great read.
I loved My Dragon System. Honestly I really couldn't put it down!Unfortunately, I had to frequently interpret some of the intended words and grammar throughout, but the meaning was usually pretty clear. And I love how it ties into his other works. But the ending really did need more work. It just didn't feel right. Kind of unsatisfying that. But the journey was a blast! I highly recommend this story. I'm so very glad that I read it.I'm looking forward to reading more of the saga in My Werewolf System and My Vampire System.
You captured me. I hoped for the story to keep on going more. I’m almost done with My Vampire System . I wanted to complete reading it right after this one, but now I don’t know. I thank you for all you have put into this story . Looking 👀 forward to the other stories.
the book is good and all, but the story dossent make any sense. sen and his entire race is hunted down, for no reason. the witch or whatever, says she needed him to stop the shadow at a later age hence why she killed him so she could bring him back as a human. but the shadow would never have been a thing if they haddent hunted down the dragons in the first place. there is absolutly no reason for him to help the humans
Overall it was a good story with a strong start and middle, the ending was rushed and wasn't as satisfying as the rest of the book. There were a lot of mistakes since it was the authors first book still really good if you ignore them. The world was unique and you can tell the author put a lot of thought into the world building and characters.
I fell in love with all the characters and feel sad that some of them basically got wrote out of the story in a bunch of different ways.
I greatly enjoyed following Ray's journey as a long time MVS fan it was nice seeing where it began.
I'm not much of a reader, I much rather sit back and enjoy watching anime... I was travelling for work and somehow forgot to pack my Bluetooth headphones and this first me to get an alternative way to pass the time during flight. This is the first book I'm reading on the Webnovel app and I'm completely hooked. I have not even picked up my tablet to continue watching series and anime even though I have ample time at night in the hotel. The story well though and with each chapter it just get better. Can't wait to finish this book. Well done
It was one the most enjoyable novels I've read in a while. I enjoyed the character development and the story building. I look forward to reading the authors other works.
I’ve read far enough into my vampire system and I realize where this story is going. This I actually really cool you’ve brought his perspective and life
I loved the book, even though it had several mistakes in writing and such (which a lot of the time I didn't realize since I auto read them as the right word on accident) the world building and the story are overall amazing.Although I feel like there were some things that could have been done better, such as the deaths of certain characters which are forgotten way too easily by the characters, there are one major thing that I disliked and I feel like it makes the whole story kind of pointless and that's the ending, not only, did it feel a little rushed, but it also is straight up unsatisfying, the fact that a main character that has been built up to love and care about the people around him suddenly stops caring completely abandoning his friends and family without a second doubt, when he could perfectly come back and continue living with them as he already had, that he returns to being a dragon after so much and just to stop caring feels bad. And even if, I feel like only if at the very last chapter, there would have been some sort of mention of his soul going back with everyone he ever cared about, it would have felt as if all of the story wasn't worthless and that he did get a happy ending.
Good story overall, lack an editor for too many mistakes made when talking about a characters using the name of another one or wrong grammar or spelling. A character with so much power should not be played so many times as if it is normal and easily done, with the attempts to play him mostly failing but once in a while succeeding, thus causing major issue and plot twist, exceptionnal circumstances needing to be met.But even with all of this, I went throughout the whole book and didn't stop, proving that even with all those mistakes, making the plot a little more shallow in fault of me finding a better word, the book remain a piece that I enjoyed reading to the very end and read in about 2 weeks. The ending is interesting and leaves the door open for the next books, which I haven't confirmed by looking at the author notes if he plans to do so. But some other readers seem to say that this book would be the start of the trilogy, with us meeting again with the divine being in my vampire system and my werewolfe system. I thank the author for his overall wonderful work and hope my review is seen in a constructive way and be used to help the author raise his "author lvl" even higher. More personal opinion, I would have loved to see the divine being get hurt in a horrible way (referring to when it is said that Ray now has obtained back many weird skills, some which should be why the gods feared him and get used right away to make her pay back a little for all she did to him and manipulating him), her being forgiven and let off way too easily.Ps: Don't pay attention to my own grammar. This review was done by phone, and English is my second language, which I never studied to get better at.
Truthfully I did not except much, since dragon themed novels are now in so much abundance BUT colour me surprised..... this is pretty good. An enjoyable novel, a nice way to pass the time. Keep at it Mr.author
