It all starts awfully for the MC, and then it gets even worse. Sincerely, I was going to stop if it went like that for a chapter more, but then, there arrives who I suppose is the ML. He's so kind that you suspect it's a trap.
Not just that he doesn't torture the MC, he even lets her rest when she doesn't feel well (and after the two first chapters, it's like winning the lottery).
The fact that I'm complaining so much about the starting point means that it's well written since it's probably what the author wanted to achieve :)

A tragic plotline! Such intensely portrayed characters and well thought out storyline deserves a good read.
I felt as if the plot progressed very fast which left me all stunned and curious. The cruelty and murder scenes weren't unsighty to the readers and the tragedy and humiliation faced by Rosalie makes all the more thirsting after flaceslapping moments... Nice work author!

I enjoyed how the main main character was allowed to feel emotions through out the story. Very well written and beautifully executed plot. The ML is just what the story needs when he enters. One of the best story's I have read on webnovel thus far. Keep up the good work.

I love everything norse and viking! This story is amazing! The main leads are very cute and loving!
I like the action and rising tension in the story.
My only pet peeve is that the male lead kinda suspicious.
LIke he has fallen for the female lead at first sight but it feels as if he knew her from before or something... i dunno

I liked the way you made her brave even though she was helpless.
The wish to help her city and her family and the efforts that she puts into it are really beautiful.

NOT GONNA LIE, the first few chapters irritated me because of the tragic events in the protagonist's life. But as I moved forward i saw how the character developed, stories about Vikings require a lot of time and research to provide better imagery and you've nailed it!

rose is a likable lead, I felt sad how she lost her family even though she had tried her best to save the!, still she found Eric, they "getting to know each other" progress is smooth with a few bumps here and there but for all potential couples these things happen.
the story is so far good, and a Viking theme with a female lead...not bad at all.

To begin with, this novel is about Vikings and this is what attracted me the most ! I've read 10 chapters so far and based on those chapters, l think it's a good novel with a well written plot and a creative background. The settings for each chapters have been described in detail and the vocabulary and grammar is pretty well too.
However, l think the story kinda progressed too fast. Apart from this, l think this novel is pretty good overall.

I know I have already reviewed the book but that was in the beginning. The start of the book was sweet (just read my first review to know my opinion). But now I absolutely love it. I am really glad that romance isn't the only aspect of this book. I do really enjoy the fights. They are so detailed and I can tell you are an enthusiast judging from the way you describe them.

Nice writing, balanced between the long and short paragraph.
I can't comment about grammar or any similar thing. because I don't much too.
For me, as long as I can read and understand the story, is enough.
And find something Odd on chapter 1, when she reporting to her father about the raider. I didn't see the writing about her panic moment or the panic situation that usually happen if something bad will happen. like she run hastily leaving behind her shoe then grab her brother without speaking anything rushed to his father room? but she even had the time to ask her brother lovingly in the middle of raider invade?
or did you made it in the purpose or that how it should be?
I didn't mean anything, just asking since i find this is odd for me.

The story started out tragic and shocking. I got so disheartened with the deaths early on in the story.
Good thing it stopped there and the nice things start to unfold. I like it sweet. Thanks to the author for delivering sweetness after some dark moments.
I can sense that you're actually one audacious writer who's not afraid to sacrifice some of the characters. Because of that, I get excited of what else is in store for the readers. Keep it up author.

Very well I really liked this story here! Perhaps because I have recently watched/read Viland Saga, which is also about vikings.
But now, this is how you start a story, grabbing you by the first chapter and only letting you go when you reach the lastest chapter! It also helps that the characters are well written and engaging, and as for the writting, it's good, really good.
All in all a great story in the making, that I will surely come back to!

I should say the setting is amazing. Vikings plus cute and heartwarmimg romance plus action... It really caught my interest. The start was so emotional and frustraiting that I wanted to get in there and help her...
And I loved the ML an their cute moments π

Good descriptions, action right at the beginning, and early promise of romance. I read 5 chapters and enjoyed every one. (Autocorrect has caught you once or twice in the first two chapters, dear Author, it's obvious you know how to spell, but it substituted one word for another. It happens in my book too!)

I read from start to the last update because the sypnosis really caught my interest...and I have no regrets. It's started as a sad tale as MC is thrown is a tragedy-filled life (curse life!). The ML is so good...the only proper man who exist, if I may say. The writing style flows brilliantly, especially with both showing and telling. The world is so cruel yet very well-done. The characters stand with each other and in sync. Can't get enough of it! Brilliant book!
