This novel has a different taste in itself from the other novels I have read so far. It portrays a POV of an Evil Character to do Evil Things just to do something evil.
It's a unique approach of making a story! It'll be a gem in the dust if left uncovered.
Writing Quality-wise, author's strong point is perfectly shown as how he/she let us visualize what type of character we will be expecting and what world he is living.

To be in the eyes of evil characters is a nice change of pace for a reader. So I recommend Evil Occultist to start or continue understanding 'why we did what we do.' Oh, don't be scared, the pace of this story is stable and perfectly worked, so the reader wouldn't trip anywhere. If you like something that better-left unexplained then pick this story up.

The book is good even though I rarely read about evil MC. The way the author describes the different situations and the way the main character behaves is really realistic. I like it that the evil qualities are made soft by the psychopathic outside of Ted. He seems very intimidating. I also like Eknie who seems to have something wrong with her, why does she like him? I will read more to find out the reason. The world the author has built is really wide and I can easily get lost in it. The general feeling of the story is scary. It is a book with psychological horror mixed with steampunk. This is definitely worth a read. It goes into my library and I will continue to support it in the future.

The writing quality is amazing and the read was very smooth. The mc is exactly what the synopsis says. He is not a good person by any means and will through even his closest subordinates under the bus to save his own skin, this novel might not be everyone's cup of tea but for me personally, it was fantastic. The characters and descriptions are well explained and all in all, I think the unique characters in this novel are the most appealing part of this novel. Best of luck to the author

I will start with the conclusion beforehand. This story is an interesting read and creates quite the hunger for seeing the schemes and the journey against philanthropy.
That being said, for those who are more interested in my full review of this story I will continue to list what I liked and what could be improved upon if you continue.
First of all, the writing style is a good mix of complicated words with a fitting sentence structure to accompany it. Making it very suitable for a slightly depraved worldview.
However, some reasonings especially of side characters are a bit too "forced" for my personal liking. Aside, from that, the dialogue is truly a great fit for every character and their different personalities.
Placing a story in a world going through a technological revolution creates an interesting dynamic between the old and the new understanding of the world. Although it's too early to fully judge the extent of the world, I do believe, it's on a good way as it is now.
There were a few minor spelling mistakes, but given the length of the chapters, those can be ignored since they do not impede the reading flow in any way.
For now, these 15 chapters, offer a good insight into what's to come and set the scene up quite nicely for the inevitable conflict, which is going to arise.
Altogether a really nice read.

One of the best portrayals of evil Protagonist so far in The Webnovel
I mean yes Ted is literally have moral ambiguity too with his action, but as a character he is well fleshed out. His scheme, his demeanor, and the way he act to certain situation, it's like a legit human being. I also like that Ted as a evil protagonist is also very charming too and the author give him a soft side with his close partner. He is also ruthless, but not too try-hard and reasonable in certain situations.
Even his partner or close friend Is also have an interesting and chilling personality too. Their interaction are also very human-like which is a very plus point.
As for the world building, the world building is pretty decent and I truly enjoy the dark theme scenario in here. Also the sun deity introduction is very amazing and give this book a clear direction especially to Ted Character. I also hope they will be more expansion about this novel.
Overall, thank you very much for having a great time reading this novel and I know this novel have a limitless potential with evil protagonist theme. Keep up the amazing Work!!!

Let me start with the very clear, I have seen morally ambiguous, and amoral MCs before, but this is different from it, akin to using the same template, but a different, completely unique font on a document.
Metaphors aside, subjectively, the writing style of the author went very well with the themes presented, and objectively, the writing itself is flowy, smooth, and the grammar is flawless.
This book is still in its infancy, but I'll be staying here and reading it to see how the author develops the story.

Ted feels believable as a thrill-seeking psychopath. This, of course, makes him hard to like, but I guess that's the point here - I don't like him but I do enjoy him, if that makes sense. IRL I would not get within seven miles of such a callous and bloodthirsty person.
That's the whole magic of it. And might I point out that the worldbuilding is good. I think I managed to avoid infodumps here (at last, hahaha)
Overall this is not a perfect novel, but for me, for now, it's still very good.
