Abstruse meaning: something that is nearly impossible to understand or figure out.

She never believed in such childish thoughts. The workers told her not to sweat it when the girls claimed such unbelievable lies. So why is this man suddenly claiming that he’s a vampire!?!

Bonnie was absolutely thrilled when she found out that the girls were letting her tag along on their little outings at night. She knew it wasn’t allowed but they’d finally let her go with them. Slightly confused because they don’t really like to be around her, but she wasn’t thinking twice about it. In the end, she went. But oh, should she have stayed.

Acelen was just out and about, not even expecting anything like what'd actually happened to occur. Ah, why can't he resist?

Ah, I guess it’s just not the case for either of them tonight.

I believe Abstruse has two meanings for this story. One meaning Abstruse because she never thought that she could be loved and it’s very confusing to her how someone like him could love someone like her. The second meaning Abstruse is because she was always taught to be logical, but this is just shattering everything she’s known.


Well, let’s just say what both of them had known. *insert evil laughter *

Their love for each other is abstruse.
