The grand ball room was bustling with people talking and the occasional clinking of utensils. What got on her nerves was the occasional glances at their direction from a certain someone.
She raised her knife in front of her face and stared at it intently before muttering threateningly, "If I hear of any 'chance' encounter between you two, I'm gonna shove this knife down your throat."
He grinned as if he wasn't just threatened for murder, "The only chance encounter I have ever had was with you"
"And it better remain like that." she was still grumpy yet he found it endearing.
