In this world there are humans genetically unable to hate, and humans genetically capable of killing. Humans of white marks and Humans of red marks.

Altair, a young white mark, awakens the blood mark for the first time in the history of the Quarz. The mark of those capable of killing another human being.

Altair is publicly executed and awakens in an underground city illuminated by minerals and reddish rivers. In this huge chamber, for thousands of years, only the sons and daughters of those capable of hating and killing have lived. Evolving superhuman mental and physical skills to survive in a city where only those who leave their humanity behind survive.

Altair will explore the extent of human evil and how it will help him to find himself and discover what really happened that night when his mark awoke.
