Maria-Jane was the type of girl that would peak in High School. She was what every guy wanted and what every girl wanted to be. She was pretty and popular and at first, glance seemed to have the "perfect life". Everyone was sure that she would win Prom Queen and then after high school slowly fade from the minds of everyone present.

For the past 3 years, High School seemed like the most important part of Maria-Jane’s life. She had worked tirelessly to maintain her social status and had given up more than she was willing to admit. Now as a Senior, her future seems all too real and she has to wonder if it had all been worth it. After all these years, of diets, bitchy friends, dating boys she had no real interest in, and breaking her back to win a plastic crown, all she really wanted to do was to stay curled up in Rosies' arms.
