Gates. Such a simple word but the mere mention of this simple word will make any normal humans spine crawl.

It was the year of 2750 when the connotations of such a simple word was changed forever. Massive Gates opened across the planet unleashing monstrous entities upon the unsuspecting world. Governments fell and entire nations were wiped out in the first days alone but then a miracle occurred to drag humanity back from the brink! Gods had returned to save humanity by bestowing unto them powers to combat the threat that had sprung up to snuff out their light. Humanity managed to resolve their newfound crisis with the abilities they had gained from their respective Gods.

When the Gates were finally suppressed back into a passive state Humanity rejoiced for a brief time but that was short lived as various people across the world began to step forward claiming to be Oracles of the Gods stated that the Gates would never disappear and that this was the worlds new reality. The spirits of humanity was crushed once more as they confirmed the truthfulness of the Oracles words several months later when the Gates refused to disappear. Thus humanity formed the Slayers organization. Slayers were tasked with the defense of the populace.

Flash forward 300 years and Humanity has made many strides forward from where they were after the appearance of the Gates. Humanity discovered they were able to mine various magical resources from the Gates that lead to other worlds or Dungeons as they liked to call them. Technology and Magicka fused together to create Magitech. Slayer work has been glorified and industrialized into making a very profitable but very risky business to make one rich, at least if you're at the top of the Slayer ranks. But the relative peace that humanity has managed to carve out for themselves is about to be disrupted with the appearance of more Evil and Chaotic Gods emerging from the background.
The year is 3050 and humanity has been enjoying the fruits of peace for the last hundred years since the last SSS+ gate broke. It's been 300 years since the Gates first appeared and ravaged the world. It was at this point that Gods returned to humanity in their darkest hour. The Gods began to bless humanity powers to combat the threat of the Gates that had unleashed monstrous entities upon their unsuspecting world.

Enter our lovely protagonist Lucielle Everstar, who was blessed with a slightly stronger physique than the average human but besides that the only otherworldly thing about her is her inhuman beauty has caused her no end of grief in the two years since she had awakened to her blessing. However this little lass has a hidden secret that when fully revealed will shake the foundations of her whole world!
