They always said Kade was unique.

She is two halves of a whole, two sentient beings living together in one body: one powerless human side, and one magical and destructive shifter side.

When Aniji arrives, he manages to kill the human half of Kade, leaving her magical half permanently alone. Now she must learn to live without her literal other half, fight Aniji, and pretend to ignore the pained stares that come her way. But, after all, who misses the human Kade more than her?
