This is my first attempt at a story. Even if no one read it I am having fun. It’s a story about a women who finds herself in a world unknown. The sky is purple and the Elves hang out in the trees to the south waiting to attack and eat you alive. This is a chapter sample Village My red wings blend well in the dark sky. This is a small village, if you can call it that, not even fifty houses. The village is on a small hill. The roofs are a light blue grass and the walls are an orange stone. There are no walls encasing the town. There are a few rows of a purple flower surrounding the village. The leafs are blue with red vines through them. These are flowers that give off a perfume that the beasts don't like. The flowers also surround part of the field that has creatures that walk on two legs. They look something like dinosaurs/large chickens with no feathers, and skin like an elephant. They are used like horses. The grass is a light blue and reaches to the forest. Not a person can be seen in the village. Not a light in any of the houses. "When darkness comes all babies should be in bed cause monsters play at night." I laugh at myself and dive. A red light lances through the sky from the column on the nearest corner of the village just missing me "Now that pisses me off," I say out loud, and let loose a black flame from my mouth. The flame hits the column. Then I let loose another. This time I hear a scream as the house I aim at bursts into flames. I blast house after house.
When I woke up, I found myself inside a spaceship. I guess you guys think I’m talking nonsense here, but I also have absolutely no clue about what exactly happened to me. I was really close to completely losing it, but fortunately, I managed to notice that this place was really similar to the world featured in a game I was playing recently. Am I dreaming? Nope, it’s no dream. Maybe I actually got sent to a different world or something? But didn’t those things usually involve getting sent to a magical world with elves, dwarves, dragons and whatnot? In any case, I don’t know what caused this, but I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and live properly in this world from now on. It’ll be okay. I got my trusty spaceship so I can probably make some money. It’ll work out! It has to! This is the story of a man abruptly thrown into space along with his private spaceship. He runs around with it and saves damsels in distress along the way, flirts with said damsels, earns money as a merc-for-hire and uses his gaming knowledge to work his way into living freely and easily. For the ones that know where this is from, I only have this here to read when my data runs out and I never said this was mine.
Follow the tale of Orfal Brownfury, a dwarf who tackles the struggles of his unique life in a lost dwarven society. Orfal hails from the fortress known as IronShell and was born into an originating colonal family of the place. The first generation Brownfury established a family trade that is strictly capitalized by each new generation descendant. It is common local knowledge that the Brownfury's successful beginnings is not credited toward their forefather's ability as a dwarf. Instead the family's success is a direct result of receiving the blessings of the four founding dwarf protectors of Midgard- Nordri, Sudri, Austri, and of course Vestri. The protector's blessings were required to be placed on an individual after a more interesting design flaw was uncovered during the creation of IronShell. Much time has past since then and the present IronShell dwarfs no longer have any recognition of Midgard or the founding dwarfs who build their stronghold. Maybe it's destiny that this young dwarf will figure out some of these fabled mysteries. But one thing will be made clear, there literally is no other dwarf with more motivation to know why than Orfal Brownfury.
