The God of Chersea had retired. Not wishing to be bothered by another land to govern, the gods chose a few mortals known as the Saints to guide Chersea for them. Each were given a corresponding god-like powers, and each had different personalities. Enter Kuro. He was a human from Earth that was summoned by the Human Saint, all because she was bored. Virtually alone and with a few friends to turn to, he must learn to survive in this new land he was brought into. And for that to happen, Kuro must discover and wield the power he didn't know he possessed long before he was summoned to Chersea... Author's Note: Will post this on RoyalRoad as well.
Ryan is your average kid, except for his unstoppable imagination and perception. He isn't a genius by any regard, just very imaginative and wise beyond his years. One day he found a book. It had no name and no words. Just 1 page with 2 different symbols. Thus began the tale of a god and his creations. Thus began the Atheron Cosmos. [The cover is not mine although I did edit it for my purposes. A large part of Vol 1. is world-building (literally).]
After saving Chersea from its greatest crisis since the last Human-Demon War, Kuro was kidnapped by the Beastman Saint and was brought into her land. But for what purpose? And what could a powerless, ordinary human from Earth do to survive the new world he's put in? Author's Note: This is the 2nd Arc of my novel, 'The Human Saint is Bored, so I was Summoned to Another World'. Despite the title, there's no sex in the story.
Elliot was a true genius. By age 10 he was in a dual credit course taking both high school and college classes. The one day, he and the remaining students who were in his class at the time got summoned to another world. But only 4 could fit in the summoning circle, and thee were 16 summoned. Thus before they were summoned, a being interfered and spoke to them with a simple message. "... four of you will become this worlds heroes, the remainder, as much as I wish to, I can not send you back to your old world, thus you will be reincarnated into this world with your memories intact." Thus begins the tale of a boy whose fate even the gods cannot foretell. [The cover is not mine although I did edit it for my purposes. A large part of Vol 1. will be world-building.]
Arthur was a serious boy. He was calm and composed all his life but had a profound love of adventure. He took his studies seriously, and whenever he could he would go to other countries to explore the culture and landscape. He often volunteered, and while not the brightest, he certainly wasn't dumb either. He did fairly well in all his classes, although never enough to be called a genius. One day, during his vacation, he went climbing up Mt. Saer, located in [Country U], alone. He almost reached the peak when he made a mistake, slipped, and fell. He was supposed to have died, however when he awoke, his life was changed forever. Even a Great Dragon who soars above all must first begin its journey as a small fish swimming up a muddy stream. The world's first VRMMORPG has been released. New Wolrd Online has the Player enter the wolrd of Aeterna. With an advanced, immersive, and immensely interactive class and skill system which changes and updates according to one's own playstyle, an ever-expanding world map, and a ridiculously massive variety of creatures, monsters, beasts, and species of all kinds, there are practically endless possibilities. When the official release finally comes around, Oliver's the very first to log in and the among last to log out. 18 years old and the nephew of the Head Game Designer and Programmer, Oliver's one of only 400 beta testers. No one is better or more knowledgeable about the game among the player base than he is, even if he doesn't freely admit it. Very few can say they are more excited about the game than he is. Then, a week later, the strangeness began. A rumor claiming the disappearance of the entire development team. A strange in-game event even Nathan was not informed of. The line between Reality and Illusion is blurred beyond repair, and things are rarely as they seem. This is a fantasy from which there is no escape
Nicolas was a genius young scientist. He specialized in physics. So what was he studying? Superpowers. He was using his expertise and knowledge to conduct an extensive study on the possibility of superpowers. Psychic powers to be exact. Just as he was in the middle of abandoning his laboratory and taking his research with him, some of his equipment detected strange readings. Everything after that was blank. As he floated through the rift, his consciousness merged with some of his counterparts. Oceans of knowledge merged. Then, something else attached itself to him. When he awoke, he was in a younger version of himself, in an alternate version of earth, with massive libraries of knowledge he never studied stuck in his head, and a partner he never expected to have. ~~~~~~~~~ "This is really interesting, I wonder just how far I can go in this world. I think I just determined what my newest 'Project' will be." ~~~~~~~~~ [The cover is not mine although I did edit it for my purposes. A large part of Vol 1. will be world-building.]
