Great story so far. Eagerly looking forward to the further evolution of the story plot. I especially look forward to the continuing cementing of the MC's relationship with his (in the words of the other characters) missus, the so-much-older elf. One has to wonder why she is still single after soo many years. I guess this will be explored later in the story. Gotta love elves when their characters are crafted as well as this.
Highly recommended to read.

It's quite good, compared to the overhaul quality on webnovel it's really good.
Not to much cliche.
A real good adventure so far, a tiny bit disapointing the it's still the same map as our current world, but it seams there is a lot of mistery to uncover.
The autor also use nordic and other occidental mythologies, it's refreshing compared to the chineese one.

Got to Chapter 7 before deciding to drop this story. I felt that the author put a lot into the world building and background but it doesn’t do the premise of the scenario any justice. The world is basically ending and this guy can’t believe magic exists even though he’s talking to literally Odin and witnesses magical things around him. He’s also overly concerned with survivors of humanity (not necessarily his family/just strangers) instead of his own situation. He is so focused on others that it makes him seem like a whiny baby. He doesn’t have any drive or motivation himself after he’s basically being slapped in the face with exposition and reality that things have changed but he doesn’t accept it at all. He’s super in denial and it makes reading the story incredibly difficult to care. If I knew the world was ending then I’d know to adapt quickly to my current situation to survive. If a person shows me literal magic then I’m obviously going to decide to accept his offer to train. Screw other people. Idk I thought it was incredibly boring and the MC was so difficult to feel any empathy for him since he was acting like a 5 year old. Really sad that such world building went to waste over a terrible whiny baby MC.

All i can say is that the premise is rock solid. Nothing more, nothing less. This is an excellent premise for a magical apocalypse unlike all other novels this premise is just solid.

Not perfect but incredibly good and well planned, it’s really rare to find an author that can write and create such a good world building. The interactions between the characters seem even to follow some human logic, and incredibly rare feat on WB.
I just read 15 chapters and until now I’m pretty satisfied. I hope it continues to be good!

I have really loved the way this book is written, the character development is amazing as well as world building. I love the spin he took which why we have the gods we have in a fantasy type setting. The writing ya Lott is fantastic, especially compared to the overall quality of writing we find on Webnovel. One of my favorite books here on webnovel.

Great use of the Nordic mythology. Funny conversation. Lots of action and magic valor. Theres multiple magic systems mc uses runes that can be nearly insta cast. Uses swords knives that hes trained by the god of war and valor on how to use. He also occasionally uses modern weaponry

One of the best that I've ever read. The novel is so well written. The story is great. It's been enjoyable so far. Especially all the theory and world building, no logic defying character behaviour, also the consistency of things that have been written. Added by the author's great writing quality.

Just 10 chapters in I really like the way the story, setting, and characters have so far been developed. It's a great combination of mythology, adventure, and a slight mystery as everything isn't revealed to you right away. The chapters are a quick and fun read if you have a break during the day and the author regularly posts new ones.
