OK, so idk if the synopsis confused anyone else, but this is what’s happening: MC basically wakes up in class from a strange nightmare (most likely memories from a future life he’s just returned from). When he wakes up, he’s in Dragon City fifty years after humanity has been randomly transported to this strange “other world”. While advanced in some regards, the technology seems to be less than what they left behind on Earth. Note: When he refers to Earthlings, the MC refers to himself and the people of Dragon City. When he refers to the impending savage attackers, he’s talking about the undiscovered inhabitants of this “other world” that the Earthlings are now part of. They have presumably not yet encountered these inhabitants. Essentially, due to their own issues and a strange fog that surrounds everything they are currently isolated from the rest of the world. For this reason Dragon City, and the people within, think they’re thriving, but in reality are a bunch of powerless bumpkins hidden in the fog. Assumedly, once that fog lifts, they will be faced with the true danger of the world beyond, and the MC is the only person who knows what to expect.

Anyone else getting "Tales of Demons and Gods" vibes here?

Did this guy returned to past or went to future? It looks he return to past.

The fact that he was merely a weakling in the future makes me doubt how much knowledge and techniques he could believably know that could help him change anything.
