the novel was okay when its started but the author decided not to make the mc grow though the guy is a grown up man in his 40s who regressed back in his teens in a Parallel world , and the power system is all messed up how can a level 1 beat a level 4 this plot amor is too much. the story got more annoying when you introduced duan ye character, i know it's a comedy novel but you don't have to implement comedic dialogue in every conversation between characters its annoying its makes it hard read its cringe at this point its brain rot.

MC is so dumb which is not aligned to his soul age. I'm sure even a normal teenager can immediately think of 99 ways to take advantage of that curse. also you can always find at least one valid reason to not be pestered by your professor but mc choose to just joke around just because of genre?

This is hands down, the funniest web novel I have ever read in my life, Dude, y'all got to read this. The story Line is pretty good too, its interesting and its got some unexpected turns, the translation is sometimes a bit iffy but trust me you will be laughing your *** off when you read this book

I think the story had potential but to be fair I didn't read much of it since it is only frustrating me, while he has an easy way to get stronger it is like the whole world is against him getting stronger by showering him in 'kindness' even his sister is finding a rich older man to marry so that eur mc is able to get stronger Through a lot of medicine, while i don't like the thought it it would be in another novel it is still somewhat acceptable but in this novel it is really in a complete different level since he is only able to get weaker by eating them. btw I don't know if the sister married that guy afterwards since i stopped reading it as I read the beginning of that chapter.

A fantastic story that hides and buffers the dark setting with comedy (though some of the bits of comedy aren't for everyone, I personally enjoy the rapidfire banter but dislike the random toilet humor and characters just being pointlessly obnoxious). The characters come off as shallow on first read, but as they get explored, they show a depth and emotion that's rarely seen on this site. Some aspects seem copied (one of the alien realms is basically Nier:Automata), but it's still done pretty well, especially for this site. It's not really a masterpiece, but considering the usual quality of works on this site, I believe it merits the 5 star rating I've provided.

after reading lord of the mysteries a lot of the novels just feel flat and childish now but the comedy which most people didn't like was the best part of the novel for me. Maybe the readers aren't too used to the Chinese euphemisms and culture but yes the world building needs more texture and some plot holes need tweaking. occasional problem of misgendered pronouns too.

great concept , not so op if u think about the debuff and very entertaining , very enjoyable and really funny character kinds similar in the funny part with the novel ( i have the strongest system ) translation is well done not so bad , i haven't seen any cliches in the story till vol1 and the plot is good and the story is ok , and not like Chinese at all it's like reading a japanese novel with just a normal mc and Chinese names , kinda great one

I like to torture people with bad jokes, so this novel is just for me! Don't take the story too seriously like the other salty bitter reviewers, just check if you like this kind of humour, as this novel is a comedy.

let's not talk about updating stability..this book was so fun to read, the characters was so well developed to perfection, even though the world backgrounds was faintly mentioned, but still it's becoming clear step by step...the writing quality was good, much better than any other new books... hope this will be complete..🤗💕

i dont like how the author forces the jokes or humor even when the setting doesnt match up. it just makes the moment awkward or plain cringe. a lot of these novels do that and its just so bad.

I believe this is the first time a novel made me laugh on webnovel, This novel is comedy gold. The mc is shameless but he is not stupid and I haven't noticed any idiotic face slapping. Props to the author cant wait to read more

The curse do not make any sense. But it is a very funny story. Just don't think to much about how his cultivation work. For me it got really funny when the tournament start.

this is probably my first time liking an author who made cultivation novel and it good all the rest I read are no fun at all . they have no emotions at all but this one so far is great

NGL these ppl are eating this as if it's a serious novel... I've seen tons of reviews that review it as if it's trying to have a complex story and deep character etc... at least from what I've read, this is supposed to be a mostly light hearted comedy. when I read it i ignored a lot of flaws because, the purpose doesn't seem to be him growing stronger etc as the main focus, it's mostly focused on the humor and comedy, so it should be judged by what it focuses on. i found this novel to be absolutely hilarious, with lots of clever and ridiculous jokes. i wanna read more, hopefully the author will pick it back up to translate or write more.

this novel is super great so far, if you're looking for a serious grinding and getting stronger novel... this isn't the novel for you, but if you want a "light-hearted" comedy, with elements of cultivation and modern world, this is perfect! idk of this is going to update in the future, but the 40 chapters currently out are super great!

Honestly this story is surprisingly good. The MC is funny and not "cryptic dumb Chinese comedy" kind of funny, but like he do funny things that are really funny. The character aren't clichè or stupid evil, for example the teacher was hard but he also was trying to help MC, the starter villain had a motivation to harass the MC and the MC acknowledge that he need to mantain a low profile and hide the cheat, expecially after being almost kidnapped for it. The setting is still being fleshed out and it's still at the classic "College for Kung-fu Magic" place,
