A young woman tormented with severe anxiety disorders encounters a man with the power to compel her inner-demons away, but the mystery of who and what he is challenges her to consider the consequences of relying on him and his powers. || It started with Alison's attempt to drown herself in Devil's Lake and ended with a hasty farewell as storm clouds brewed. Philip had claimed to be a childhood friend, but she has no memory of him. All she knows is that an inner tug kept pulling her close until he dared her to look him in the eye. And then-Zap! Her anxiety was gone. As weeks draw on from their only encounter, Alison finds herself becoming increasingly obsessed with him. Maybe if she drove out to the lake again, she'd find him, or perhaps he'd find her. That's what the new voice in her head keeps saying. But perhaps she only narrowly escaped. Perhaps returning to Devil's Lake is the last thing she should do. Perhaps a man who can compel anxiety away can influence the mind in other ways.

We have always said that a cat will always be the hunter to a bird as it is prey to the cat. Is that possible those rules don't apply for people like Geneses. The Geneses are smarter than normal animals with the ability to talk and think and walk on two legs. Human-like. Animals are using their skills to survive in the wild, While Geneses use their skills in battle. A bird geneses and a Cat Geneses. How will this story unfold? Will it end with the Cat hunting the bird or the bird flying from its predator? C: What shall happen? Place your bets! M: Are you really betting that have been predetermined? C: True, but it's doubtful they will know how this ends M: Can't Say I agree.
This is the new world, ruled by the dead. The last of us that remain living have no defenses against them. The fall of man happened not to long ago, and already we struggle to survive. There is no safe heaven from these monsters. Follow the story as a family of three try to survive in this broken world. I promise to deliver a apocalyptic sensation like never read before in the zombie world. This is a work in progress. It may take me some time to post, but I will continue updating. The book cover art is not mine. The website is on the cover. I will make my own cover art later on.
Since the dawn of time, humans have only ever been afraid of one thing. The dark. But why? What is so bad about the dark? Why do humans fear it so? Why? Because, somewhere, in the backs of your minds, you know, even if you won't admit it, that there is something in the dark. There's something about the dark that makes your skin crawl, that feeling like someone's watching you, waiting. You hear footsteps behind you when your walking alone, don't you? You've all felt the fear, that paralysing, soul-wrenching fear that makes your heart race. The thought in your mind, begging you to look; right where you don't want to, look out of the corner of your eye. You've all seen it; that glimpse of something lurking behind you, waiting in the dark. You've seen them, haven't you? They've seen you too.
